Amateur vinyl DJ, learning as I go along as a hobby. I've had a passion for dance music since the early 90s and learnt how to mix on vinyl and CDJs at house parties before and around the millennium. Then work and growing up got in the way, so I stopped. I love the sound and feel of vinyl, the rawness to it when DJing, so I decided to buy myself some turntables and a mixer again in early 2022 and started again, so these mixes are far from perfect but fun to do! Mainly mixing trance/Prog/House/Commercial stuff from the late 90s and early 2000s. None of the music is my own, just the mixing.

Music that makes you feel good. It makes you turn to the person next to you on the dancefloor, whether they are your mate or a complete stranger, and smile. It could be deep and groovy, dreamy and atmospheric, it could be driving and relentless and it could put a huge grin on your face. These are the dancefloor reactions Phillip Bourne aims to bring, because having these moments is what going out and enjoying good music should be about.

Phillip’s passion and keen ear for good pure tunes lead to gigs for local crews like Sunset and Loose but the highlight of his career so far is being honoured with a guest mix for John ‘00’ Fleming’s monthly radio show ‘Global Trance Grooves’. While his heart lies with a pure, focussed trance sound, he is not afraid to delve into the deeper and darker areas of the record box and this is reflected in his flexibility as a DJ. He can play an early, middle or late set depending on feel of the night.
