Another Country (Remaster)

East Meets Middle East is one of my latest projects featuring original compositions. It is a quartet blending traditions from India and the Middle East featuring Subrata Bhattacharya (tabla) and Abhisek Lahiri (Sarod) from Calcutta, India and Ronnie Malley (oud) and George Lawler (percussion) from Chicago. The debut CD is the result of a chance encounter one evening in Chicago when we got together for the first time and decided to record the rehearsal. The pieces are original compositions and improvisations that spontaneously came out of that rehearsal. It is being released by my company, Intercultural Music Production, LLC.
