Mohabbat  ki baaten kyaa bataaun mein tujhe,
Kitne diye jale the kitne diye bujhe;

Life crumpled like paper in 
A wastepaper basket out in the sun:
Warm, hot, dry; then the rain!
Life wet washed, dried, un-creasing
Opens out again and blossoms
Like thoughts of a thoughtless man
Living fast, free, high; then, disdain!
Life’s paper, blank, in wastepaper
Basket, carelessly crumpled up again.
