I really liked music education in elementary school, but for different reasons I only started an instrument later, guitar, my mother played guitar. I had a high school band, where I played bass, we had a few concerts, but did not have a great impact, so the band dissolved.
But, I heard Johar Ali Khan playing ragas on violin, that's why I started - more than 20 years ago - to play violin. 
I was living together with a pro raga musician, for three, maybe four years, and I learned vocal and instrumental ragas from her.
I did not enjoy that much classical on violin, so I did not continue to develop as fast when I began learning. But somehow I started enjoying it, and put in a lot of effort to learn the technique through western pedagogy, and classical violin.
I also play little piano.

I am interested in the healing aspects of music, as well as meditation.
