Deeply inspired by early 1980s tracks from Sly & Robbie, Mellodose channeled his focus for “The Highest” on a seismic drum & bass reggae rhythm to underpin the emotional vocals from SDV frontman, Zach Fowler. Lyrically, "The Highest" calls battle-worn warriors to continue upward. Through conscious self-improvement, Fowler regains his footing & climbs again. Melding modern psychedelic rap production, "The Highest" sends Fowler into a sonic trip. He emerges with a clear purpose: sing your story.

All the meanwhile, there’s a big game being played in an even bigger revolving system, so pervasive that it seems like reality itself. As we navigate our path on a never-ending treadmill of collective self-discovery, there are forces conditioning our ways and means. “RUNNIN” encourages us to run, but not to run past what we are meant to experience.
