The Hempolics’ latest single, “Rockin N Sway” backed with “Wicked World”, showcases the latest pair of tracks in a series of compelling singles ahead of the eclectic South East London-based collective’s upcoming album, which follows in October. 

Early support for their new music so far this Summer has come from Rodigan (BBC 1Xtra), Gideon Coe (BBC 6 Music) and beyond, continuing the band’s previous momentum which includes being championed on BBC 6 Music with Playlist additions and live sessions. 

Released under the banner of The Hempolics' homegrown label, ZeeZee Records, this two-tracker offers a glimpse into the forthcoming album, "KCT 3", on which fans can expect an eclectic mix of sounds and stories of modern Britain, pushing the boundaries of contemporary Reggae music.

The AA release also continues in the band's tradition of offering up a killer atmospheric dub version of each track alongside the originals.

The lead track here, “Rockin N’ Sway” is a summer anthem that captures the essence of The Hempolics, laced with an infectious rhythm and Shumba Youth's spirited delivery. The lyrics, penned by Shumba Youth, weave a narrative of resilience, celebration, and consciousness. The first verse encourages taking chances and standing strong against adversity, emphasizing the importance of community and staying true to oneself. The second delves into themes of meditation, gratitude, and maintaining positivity amidst chaos, while the absolutely unshakable chorus is a jubilant reminder of music's ability to create togetherness and joy.							>>>
