"I felt like I was observing a take on the (emotional) representation of chaos and frustration. Messy, smudgy, and confusing! Inspiration for this mix definitely came from a period recently when I was churning through ZULI’s music and mixes. He does not hold back whatsoever and makes way for a lot of angry and high-intensity sounds. This image seems to evoke similar feelings to what I experience when listening to his selections so I decided to take a similar approach of not thinking about holding back whatsoever, which is a really cool opportunity with a mix since there is no pressure to conform to a context other than your own whim."
