Philadelphia singer/songwriter Tony Mecca serves wisdom from deep in the inner city via a delicious storytelling-based blueprint that inventively incorporates elements of Pop, Blues, Folk and plain old Rock 'n Roll. His stories fuse equal amounts of humor and sympathy to thoughtfully examine life experiences, personalities and real people dealing with ordinary and sometimes surreal circumstances.

As anyone more than a little familiar with Tony Mecca’s music will tell you, his infectious raspy voice and hook laden melodies may initially confiscate most of your attention, but it is his sage commentary on the beauty and failings of the "human drill" that will eventually permeate your head, heart and soul.

Welcome to Art Murphy on Soundcloud where you will hear this Atlantic Canadian musician who has been performing since 1966, recorded "Love Potion No.9" in 1976 with his band Hard Road while performing around the country and in 2000 released a EP with band Backslider called First Gear and is still recording on the East Coast of Canada, New EP Dreams and Memories is now available !!!!

Songwriter and Guitarist, Mads Mundt strives to create bluesy folk songs about anything, really. He is supported by Guitarist Andreas Aspe (Lead Guitar) and Oliver Honoré (Drums)

Perdue au beau milieu de la banlieue parisienne, par-delà les villes, les montagnes, les bars et la jungle, se trouve une petite manufacture…entrez donc ! Et bienvenue dans la Roots Factory ! Je me présente, Chympa, amateur de bananes et camarade du personnel. C’est moi qui vous accompagnerais tout au long de la visite de l’usine, ouverte depuis 2006.


A votre droite, la salle de créations, où se prépare avec force et délicatesse une mixture sonore qui sert à fabriquer l’unique produit de l’usine : sa musique. Les ingrédients, sélectionnés avec soin, proviennent d’horizons multiples : des arômes de folk rock australien, de funk, liés à une nuance subtile de musique latine. Mais attention ! Cette liste est loin d’être exhaustive ! Les employés de la Roots Factory ont en effet à cœur de procéder à un melting pot musical, marqué par l’authenticité de sons acoustiques divers et variés.


Dirigeons nous vers la gauche, afin que vous puissiez approcher une de leur création : un assemblage de 13 pièces appelé « Evasion », sorti de l’usine en 2009. N’hésitez pas à venir scruter, écouter, gouter et humer ce produit durant l’une des dégustations organisées près de chez vous ! Les employés se feront un plaisir de vous en distiller le meilleur, le tout avec une bonne dose d’humour et une grosse pincée de bonne humeur.


Enfin, si vous regardez en bas, vous apercevrez nos trois employés travaillant d’arrache pied à la création de nouveaux produits musicaux, que notre équipe se fera un plaisir de vous dévoiler. Elle se tient à votre disposition et ne manquera pas de vous tenir au courant de la disponibilité ainsi que des sorties des nouveautés de l’usine.
