O.B.F (Original Bass Foundation) are a French dub and reggae sound system based on the outskirts of Geneva. The crew, made up of producer & selector Rico, operator G and manager Stef promote forward thinking dub music.

Heavily influenced by Jamaican reggae, 90s UK dub and contemporary urban music, O.B.F’s sound is distinctive and versatile. They started off as an underground sound system playing at Genevan squat parties. The unique sound of Rico’s productions rapidly gained hype within the dub community and in 2006 O.B.F started putting on their own nights at "Le Zoo" L’Usine, Geneva’s biggest club. Since then, their notorious "Dubquake" nights have become a true institution in the European night scene. The interest around the sound system has grown exponentially ever since.

One of the keys to O.B.F’s success is the unparalleled energy that emanates from the whole crew. You only need to take part in one of their sessions to start feeling part of the family. This ability to bring people together can be seen in the list of artists they have worked with over the years : Sr. Wilson, Linval Thompson, Iration Steppas , Tippa Irie , Killa P , Belén Natalí, Pupajim, Charlie P, Biga*Ranx , Nazamba...

In 2014, O.B.F launched their own imprint "Dubquake Records", an independent record label focused on promoting future dub and reggae. Now with over fifty releases including O.B.F's two stand out albums Wild (2014) & SIGNZ (2020), the label has widened its horizons, producing and distributing documentary films.

Biography

Mystical Powa was founded in Suessola Valley (Caserta) in July 2006, born from the shared inspiration of Marco Zion and Marco Isla. The project aims to spread a message of peace, love, and resistance against the injustices of the "Babylon System" through musical selections and productions.

In 2010, Mystical Powa and Dub Station Sativa joined forces to build their own Sound System, launching the Roots Evolution project. This collaboration led to the organization of successful events such as Natural Vibes, Dubwood, and Rastaman Stand Firm, hosting artists from all over Italy and Europe.

In 2011, they founded their independent label Mystical Records, producing and promoting numerous artists in the Roots/Dub scene, including King General, Lion Warriah, Danny Red, Far East, Nish Wadada, Kibir La Amlak, Prince Alla, Idren Natural, Junior Dread, Sista Awa, and Dub Judah.

Since 2018, Mystical Powa has released music on international labels such as 4Weed, Capra Records, Tribe84, and Roots Youth Records.

Their musical selection ranges from ‘70s-‘80s Roots/Reggae to the latest UK Steppers sounds, featuring a strong presence of dubplates and self-produced tracks from the Mystical Studio.

Over the years, Mystical Powa has performed at clubs and festivals across Europe, including International Dub Gathering (Spain), Rototom Sunsplash, Zion Station, Dubstone, Rockers Calore, and Escape the City Festival (Croatia). They have shared the control tower with internationally renowned artists such as Aba Shanti, Vibronics, Dub Judah, Blackboard Jungle, Moa Anbessa, and Chazbo.

In 2019, the Mystical Powa Live Set project was launched in collaboration with various singers and musicians. This two-hour show features live selection and remixing of their productions, further solidifying their presence in the international Roots/Dub scene.

K-Sänn is a Dubmaker from Poitiers (France) since 2005. He has produced several albums and EP and and he has worked in partnership with many artists and producer like : Daman, Ras Mykha, Marina P, Panda Dub, Conscious Youth, ODG, Al Dente Records, Frenchtown Hifi, and many more.....

The name D'ubserver [pronounced D-Observer] stands for a unique combination of Jamaican reggae, breaks & dub drained sounds with an eclectic electronic core.  I also have quite a few House & Techno productions under my "The Observer" moniker. I haven't been active since 2017. I want to thank everybody who still plays and likes my tracks.

Dub Kazman grew up in the tuffest area of Japan, South Osaka. With a love for reggae, dub and sound system culture he started playing out in the mid 00's mashing up dances across Osaka. 

Now after plenty of 7" and dubplate releases, Dub Kazman's distinct style rams dance across the world working with labels such as Woodland Records, Abendigo Records, Saint Francis Records, 4Weed and now on his own imprint, Rough Signal Records JPN. Along side his own productions, Kazman is working in collaboration with a new crew under the name Night Scoops, with Hiroshi of Riddim Chango Records.

With sounds such as Channel One, Iration Steppas, King Shiloh, OBF and Blackboard Jungle playing out Dub Kazman productions, big things are coming for 2019.

最新のDUB PLATEと自身のDUB PLATEを折りぜたプレイスタイルでロンドン、スロベニア、2014年にはアイルランドといったヨーロッパ各地でゲストとして出演し、国内問わず海外でも、有名アーティスト達と共演をし評価を受けている。
2016年に第一作目としてDISCIPLESとの共作、「FREEDOM MARCHING」をレコードリリース。
さらに2017年2月には自信初のフランスツアーを決行し、フランス各地を盛り上げる。
昨年12月にはALPHA STEPPA主催のもとOSAKA STEPPA VOL.2にて12インチをリリース、2018年にはUKレーベルより7インチ「WHAT WE WANT」「WRONG SYSTEM」をリリース、さらに10月にLIVING LEGENDことPRINCE ALLA、また、自身のレーベル「ROUGH SIGNAL RECORDS JPN」から「VIOLOIN ROCK」をリリース。
今後もJUNIOR ROY、PUPA JIM等をフランスアーティストをフューチャーをして自身レーベルよりリリース予定。

ROOTS PLAGUE SOUNDSYSTEM – The fully equipped high Power high Grade Roots&Dub Soundsystem based in Muenster, Germany, founded in 2006 by Natty Nils, Bredda B, Jan Bow and Locke.
Early Sessions were run inna Reggae & Dancehall Style, while Dub&Steppas became more and more important. Since 2008 they bring strictly Roots Reggae, Rockers, Dub and Steppas Selections.
Today this custom built Soundsystem contains twenty 15inch speakers and a high-end mid- to high-tone section.
ROOTS PLAGUE run the nicest outdoor sessions and set up heavy indoor-events. They have created party-projects like 15inch-corner, Soundsystem convention, Musical Kingdom, Basstelstunde and the mighty Big Rig Festival.
In 2008 the ROOTS PLAGUE crew founded the legendary Dub Camp Area at Reggae Jam, Germany’s no.1 voted Reggae Festival. The Dub Camp has been there since and will be there evermore. In this special time and place they invite friends from other Soundsystems and Bands to play over the “Red Wall” and enjoy four days of Reggae, Dub and Niceness!
