A coincidence that was meant to happen. 

Jano band and Pamfalon just released a song called Andnen, which is the Ethiopian term for Unity.

They came unexpectedly together when Jano was spending time in Munich after their Show at the 12. Ethiopian Sports and Culture Festival.

The Band and Pamfalon decided to do a reggae song that describes the vibes within the band and among Ethiopian youth worldwide, despite different ideas and place of origin and ethnicity.  

After spending a day in a studio, they came up with this amazing track called Andnen.

The track was recorded and mixed in Munich (Qedamawi Studios).

Pamfalon And Jano Band - Andnen

On his recently released, self titled album, Dereb and his band, along with producer Tony Buchen, set out to  faithfully record the music of 1960s-70s Ethiopian soul. The resulting set of 11 songs was recorded using only gear that pre dates 1970 in order to recreate the feel of the dusty Ethiopian soul records that have once again started becoming popular worldwide.
