We're excited to present the next exclusive cocktail by a youngster artist we're following for some time now. his very special creation (named by his friend: Salaar Khan) is an ode to the national beverage in his home country, Pakistan: please join us in welcoming Haider Uppal behind the counter and enjoy his delicious Murree Flurry! 

Born in Lahore, Haider Uppal has been receiving recognition by international artists and taste-maker record labels over his craft for the last couple of years. In the past, his originals have been put out on record labels such as Nie Wieder Schlafen, Dream Culture or Everything Will Be OK. 

His single Violet Woods, a co-production with Modulo out on Nie Wieder Schlafen last summer, is still buzzing through the Schirmchendrink headquarters. Recently, it was remixed by Berlin-based Soela. 

In the following months, Haider will be putting out his first EP, collaborations with veteran producer Luis Leon including a single alongside Luca Bacchetti remix, on Nie Wieder Schlafen. 

He's also the latest addition to YokoO's new imprint SATYA records and will be putting out music with him in the future. 

His style is a variety of deep and ambient house music, with a focus on groove. And so is this mix. Get ready for a refreshing summer sip!

I’ve come to realize how much I love and appreciate the transition between tracks more than individual songs alone. Transitioning in life can be hard at times, living in that transition and blending harmoniously into what’s next is something I always strive for (though don’t always succeed at). Music is a teacher for me that never stops giving me hope and confidence - there’s always a way to create something even while things change and life is on the move.   

I really challenge myself with these mixes, working with different elements of music theory to find the perfect combination between songs and moods. Weaving in more major chords vs strictly all songs in minor chords to create tension and release, layering in vocals to supplement songs that are already well produced on their own.

Excited to share this with everyone. I started this months ago in Santa Cruz while traveling for work, delayed and plagued by a bit of creator’s block and self-doubt that I could ever finish it. It’s come together better than I anticipated, my newest mix and my personal favorite I’ve made yet.

Greetings folks, Here is another chance to checkout last night’s show H Mark Mac and the Mark Mac - The Sounds Collective show on 107.3 Stafford FM we featured one of the finest and deepest Labels in the world of Deep Organic House. Bekool Records an amazing label with a consistent sound and quality, I played an amazing line up of tracks coming from some truly amazing artists who have appeared on the label such as. Federico Massara, Lucas ZÃ¡rate, Nicolas Soria, Alley SA, Leap Seconds, Jelly For The Babies, Dodeca, St. Ego, Shakib Jakir, Marcus Kardos, BiG Al. All in the first hour and then, in the second hour we welcomed an awesome Dj and producer to the decks the excellent SOL7 His boundless enthusiasm for music dates back to his childhood. Influenced by Queen, Genesis, Pink Floyd and David Bowie tapes,and his aunt's vinyl records from the 70s and 80s. Years after, he made mixes mainly in Soul, Funky and R&B style slowly paving the path to the world of clubs, parties, and festivals. Later he gets to know house and trance and completely absorbs their special atmosphere. He started organising his own parties and play music in clubs and radio stations all over Hungary. Another milestone in 2002 was the performance of Sasha in Budapest. That's when he met Deep, Organic, and progressive house, which largely defined his current style. His productions and DJ sets are primarily characterised by a positive, emotional melodic atmosphere and cheerful grooves. Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been DJing for over 25 years. His early influences were the U.S. west coast House scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 

More of Rory’s influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, DJ Ino, Seph, Steven Garcia, Schmoov, Dj Jauche and Crazy P....you can see it’s an eclectic bag. 

This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear Rory work a crowd in that individual and unique way that he has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. Rory has performed at some of the North East’s most prestigious and loved venues over the years, joints such as Stereo Bar, Tokyo Bar, To The Manor Born, The Loveboat, The Purple Onion, Cosmic Ballroom, Distrikt Bar & The Faversham down in Leeds to name a few..... 

His passion for Deep House music makes his sound very current. Rory is now running quality labels such as Deep Site Digital & Deep Site Vinylized along with Croatian DJ/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom). Rory is also working on some interesting production projects of his own, which have meant remixes and a sweet original track with vocalist Sanna Hartfield 'Focus' on Addex’ label Limitation Music. Other remixes also on labels Oh! Stockholm, Deep Stitched..South Africa, The Purr Music, Sound Vessel Records, Be Adult Music, Personal Belongings, UM Records as well as Deep Site

Over the last few years Rory has played in Croatia, South Africa, Ibiza, Prague and Sao Paulo, Brazil where Rory performed at world famous club 'D-Edge' club  for FREAK CHIC...

More recent performances include Tulum Mexico, opening Lost Tribes @ Vagalume and warming the floor for Los Cabra @ Aguva Rooftop as well as Puro Beach Barcelona, Vlkova26 & Bukanyra Music Boat Prague, Florianopolis Brazil and W hotel in London where Rory also holds his monthly label residency show at the home of Bloop London Radio....
