PAT FOOSHEEN starting Djing and producing in 1997 in the birthplace of House Music, Chicago, IL, USA. His first production work began via collaborations with Chicago's DJ Yoshi and the house/techno pioneers Alvin Carr, Lester Fitzpatrick, and Robert Armani. In 1998, they put together an EP released on the Belgian Label Modular Recordings which included four tracks ranging from hard techno and Chicago house to tech-house.

Subsequently, Pat put together his first solo 4-track demo which caught the attention of Chris Fortier of Fade Records/Balance Promote. In 2000, Chris signed all four tracks to Fade Records, one of which was licensed to Kinetic Records for inclusion on Dave Ralph's Mix CD Naturalized. This success was soon followed by the signing of two more tracks to Sandy Fox's Inversus label. One of the tracks entitled Invisible Landscape made it to the charts of almost every top DJ worldwide, solidifying Pat's reputation within the underground.

Pat Foosheen continued to evolve as a producer in 2001 and 2002. He released a dark progressive house epic entitled Sola Fide which was remixed by Philadelphia's Tigerhook Corp, and subsequently signed to the premier Hope sublabel Polyester Recordings. Continuing on, Pat and part-time studio collaborator Naveen G (Yoshitoshi Recordings) produced two more tracks which were licensed to the UK label Zone. Not one to relinquish his roots, Foosheen continued to delve into tech-house, and released tracks on the UCMGNY label Fiji.

Pat's production work from 2003 - 2009 included signings to EQ Grey, Acute Recordings, Chug Recordings, Institution Breaks, Twenty40, Arabica Recordings, and Emote Music. Pat has also been involved in numerous original and remix projects for the tech-house labels Particles and Apollo Recordings (2010-2013).

To date, Pat Foosheen has released original vinyl and digital tracks/remixes on over 30 record labels worldwide. Most recently (2015 and beyond), he has returned to his Chicago roots and his first love: Deep House. He has upcoming releases scheduled on the premier House labels Deepwit, Kommunity, Erotica, A Must Have, and Movementinsound.

Pat currently holds a monthly residency at Proton Radio alongside Naveen G, and their monthly show Darker Shades is one of the longest running and most popular programs at Proton.

In his spare time, Pat works as a Neuroscientist in the Yale University School of Medicine.

He Was At A Party In The Basement And I Didn't Believe Him, So He Pointed The Phone Toward The Speaker And Let Me Hear For Myself. A Different Friend In Florida Introduced Me To Tampa's Rave Scene And I Fell In Love With The Atmosphere And People And Music, Such As #HouseMusic #BreakBeat, #TechHouse #Jungle #DnB & #Trance Then I Wanted To Produce Around '95 - '98, But That Never Happened. Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been DJing for over 25 years. His early influences were the U.S. west coast House scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 

More of Rory’s influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, DJ Ino, Seph, Steven Garcia, Schmoov, Dj Jauche and Crazy P....you can see it’s an eclectic bag. 

This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear Rory work a crowd in that individual and unique way that he has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. Rory has performed at some of the North East’s most prestigious and loved venues over the years, joints such as Stereo Bar, Tokyo Bar, To The Manor Born, The Loveboat, The Purple Onion, Cosmic Ballroom, Distrikt Bar & The Faversham down in Leeds to name a few..... 

His passion for Deep House music makes his sound very current. Rory is now running quality labels such as Deep Site Digital & Deep Site Vinylized along with Croatian DJ/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom). Rory is also working on some interesting production projects of his own, which have meant remixes and a sweet original track with vocalist Sanna Hartfield 'Focus' on Addex’ label Limitation Music. Other remixes also on labels Oh! Stockholm, Deep Stitched..South Africa, The Purr Music, Sound Vessel Records, Be Adult Music, Personal Belongings, UM Records as well as Deep Site

Over the last few years Rory has played in Croatia, South Africa, Ibiza, Prague and Sao Paulo, Brazil where Rory performed at world famous club 'D-Edge' club  for FREAK CHIC...

More recent performances include Tulum Mexico, opening Lost Tribes @ Vagalume and warming the floor for Los Cabra @ Aguva Rooftop as well as Puro Beach Barcelona, Vlkova26 & Bukanyra Music Boat Prague, Florianopolis Brazil and W hotel in London where Rory also holds his monthly label residency show at the home of Bloop London Radio....
