Hello everyone and welcome to PFG's infamous Progcast! Every week we transport our listeners to another dance music hot-bed, promising first class service and an exclusive mix! Today its a short hop over the Irish Sea back to the UK, and the home of a dynamic duo making big moves in our scene right now. Be prepared for an absolute barn-stormer of a mix... from The Stupid Experts! 

The Stupid Experts are a duo originating from the small town of Hawick in the Scottish Borders, now residing in England. The pair knew each other as youths and soon realised they had the same love for electronic dance music.

Eventually, they were both releasing music separately under their own names and aliases, with tracks on the likes of Armada, Blackhole, Lost Language, Discover Dark, Flashover Recordings and more.  The pair moved away from the trance sound and began sharing their love for progressive, and it was then they decided to collaborate. 

Hence, The Stupid Experts were born. They came up with the name after countless ridiculous phone calls when they were trying to describe to each other how a part of a track should sound, conversations that would probably appear very stupid to a random person if they heard the lads!

 However it was a process that always helped them craft a very professional sounding record. How many Producer/DJs can be found today that have made some of the most respected, quality and upfront house music in the world for 28 years? Growing in the scene with a passion as fresh today as it was all those years ago? If there's a list then surely Chris Scott has to be on it.

Along with having productions and remixes featured on many of the best and revered major(Virgin, Island, Mute, Warner Bros)and independent (DeConstruction, Renaissance, Global Underground) labels on the planet, Chris has also tasted national chart success, with no fewer than four top 30 records. 

Simultaneously, Chris has remixed major players like Depeche Mode and Danny Tenaglia, and had all the major DJ players champion the tracks he's produced (Sasha, Digweed, Cattaneo, Howells, Seaman etc) With such a heavyweight roster backing his work there is no doubt of how highly regarded Chris is.

As well as being a headline name for labels like those, JBO, Hooj, SAW and many others Chris also co-owns the seminal label Forensic, all keen to find a home for his immense talent.

With his productions and international DJ career taking him to some of the worlds greatest clubs in every corner of the globe It’s fair to say that Chris has always been at the forefront of this electronic music movement we love.
