Sin embargo, tiene un público mayor también que se ha ido ganando a lo largo de los años de carrera (10 aproximadamente). Tiene experiencia en Matrimonios, eventos corporativos, discotecas y festivales. Ha hecho shows fuera del Perú: Orlando, Estados Unidos; Houston, Estados Unidos y Paris, Pont-Aven, Francia. Además estuvo 5 años en Radio VIVA-FM en el dial 104.7 de la FM lo que llevo a ser nombrado uno de los mejores DJ's Peruanos.

The New Album 'Birds That Flew and Ships That Sailed' - Out Now

Blur as we know it was born in 1989 when the band signed to Food/EMI. Debut album Leisure (1991) announced the arrival of a band with pop suss warped by an art-punk eccentricity. Yet Blur had more in them: namely, a revolution in the sound of English popular music. Second album Modern Life Is Rubbish reintroduced the idea that English rock music could be cool, and by the time their third album Parklife emerged in 1994, the rest of the UK had caught up. 

The Great Escape (1995) refined the sound palette of Britpop, but Blur were already moving on. 1997's Blur was an about-face - scuffed and noisy and un-English. Follow-up 13 was an even a more radical adventure in sound as William Orbit refereed a truce between organic punkpop and new-fangled technology.

Seventh album Think Tank (2003) was Blur’s first as a three piece after the temporary departure of founding guitarist Graham Coxon, featuring an eclectic variety of rhythms and textures and glorious melodies. 

In 2009 Blur reconvened as a four-piece to play a series of UK shows including two sold out dates at Hyde Park and a historic Sunday night appearance at Glastonbury. A film about Blur, No Distance Left To Run, was released in 2010.

Reggae Made in Peru. A unique blend of reggae and rock, carrying a deep, significant message.

Laguna Pai started playing in 2008, in Lima, Perú. With two guitars, synthesizers, classical keyboard sections, and a solid reggae-rock rhythmic base, a new genre was born for the peruvian musical scene.
The message is the band’s priority. Their lyrics are related to crucial thematics: environmental conservation, equity, social inclusion, introspection and spirituality, aiming to generate conscience and awareness through the music they create. 

In 2010, the band finished recording their first album, “Kultura Babylon”, a record distinct in its new, original sound. It was considered one of the best peruvian records released in 2010. With “Atento”, released in 2013,  the band acquired a deeper sound: enveloping synthesizers, profound and prolonged guitar and keyboard solos, harmonious chorus lines, solid bass lines with powerful cadences, and drum patterns that feed from different genres while maintaining a unique personality. 

In 2015, Laguna Pai started and finished the recording process of their third album, “Resiliencia”,  this album was launched on December 4th 2015. “Resiliencia” in spanish or “Resilience” in english, is the capacity to overcome adversity and have the power to move forward with a transformed and positive vision of life and the world. “We named our album “Resiliencia” because right now the world is suffering a lot of traumas, and we believe this is the way to survive and be happy, we need to overcome adversity, we need to transform ourselves and move forward. To transform ourselves is very important, not just to adapt, but to change, to learn from the good and the bad, if we don't do this we will be following the wrong path.”

"Resiliencia" was produced by reggae genius and musical producer Jim Fox, from Lion and Fox Studios. “To really find the sound we are looking for is crucial, for us the most important are Words, Sound and Power. We got the opportunity to work with Fox who is an eminence for reggae music and an amazing person, a master in every way possible, very humble, very conscious, very awake. We finally accomplished the sound we have been looking for, and that is thanks to Jim Fox, with his 40 years of experience he helped us capture the spirituality and magic of reggae music. It’s very important for us to transmit the magic and the message in our music. We believe in music as if it were a spirit and when you listen to it, it invades your being and alters the status quo. It is crucial to change the status quo.”

With this third album, Laguna Pai is reaching new dimensions in their compositions, exploring harmonies and musical arrangements without losing their true essence. They have accomplished a record where you can notice the classic reggae roots influence without losing their unique profound sound. "Resiliencia" is a true journey, you will travel from reflection to forgiveness, from anxiety to peace. It is a set of emotions that find their way into 14 songs. As always, this new musical proposal is aiming to open the path towards change in the world. 

Laguna Pai has played in musical festivals all over Perú, sharing stages with internationally renowned bands such as The Wailers, Damian Marley, Israel Vibration, Steel Pulse, Clinton Fearon, Groundation, SOJA, Los Cafres, Gondwana, among  others.

In 2013, Laguna Pai travelled to California for the HMMA (Hollywood Music in Media Awards) obtaining the award for “best reggae band” in the Reggae category.

Laguna Pai continues to work on their music and tours in hope to expand their music to new latitudes and listeners.
