"Kowloon Kickback" is a labour of love I've been working on for 10 years now, which has taken so long as it involved writing, scoring and recording a full 1930s swing big band track using all original 1930s recording equipment, which isn't the easiest thing to do!

TO THE SWING AND BACK is a small jump into the past to take what's missing from today and merge it with dance, funk, electro and house. We always aim to give thanks and draw from what has come before us, the past is our root and using it we can develop and evolve further in the future.

WALK YOUR SHOES is the story the retro chic 'Daisy' interpreted by today's iconic Rosantique. She rejects the advance of a bumbling suitor ("Rude Boy"), who invites her to dance with him but he steps on her dress (he hasn't got that savoir-faire of a galant man....). The electro swing sounds blend with a soft note of hip-hop, accompanied by trumpet and clarinet. The sound of vinyl followed by piano riffs, punching at the beginning and end of the song, blend with the accompaniment of jazz guitar, recreating the vintage swing atmosphere; while the voice with megaphone effect and the syncopated rhythm produce a more modern, swing hop, experimental sound.

GOIN' WILD demonstrates not only an alternative sound on the EP, but the other side of Rosantique as an artist. This is her breaking down the iconic pin-up vintage image and letting go by allowing herself free reign to unleash repressed impulses and produce an expression of herself that belongs on the dance floor. The sounds are explicitly electro-house, contaminated by the timing of typical electro swing but with a touch of international style in the vocals.

So that's properly an hyperbole trip in the past to return to the present passing from swing to electro house of today.

Be warned though, this EP is so filthy-georgeous shakermaker it will make your hair explode into a glorious technicolour afro…or your money back!*

Founder of Electro Swing Milano, producer of the best vintage parties with outstanding cabaret performers, she joined Ludwig Sound Booking Agency and since 2011 has been sharing the stage with the most appreciated international Electro Swing artists like Club des Belugas, Swingrowers, Pep's Show Boys, until singing with Herbie Flowers and jamming with Postmodern Jukebox!
Rosantique musical selection gives a taste of the best electro swing tracks, going through milestones and hot new productions.
Always giving the greatest attention to all the details and performing in glamour dresses and accessories matching with pure diva hairstyle and make-up.
Cover girl for national custom magazines like LowRide and Chop & Roll after being elected Miss Pin Up 2012, she was special guest as a pin up dj representing Buonasera Signorina compilation for its release tour and during the Spring Break Invasion in Croatia.

Meeting The Smoke Orchestra in 2012, she finds the perfect recipe to make her feelings sound with a live band at first, and soon with their electronic production. In march 2014 she releases her first debut tracks featuring Chapeau Rouge and Nikola Vujicic, both of them included in the compilation "Ludwig Sound Boutique - first class electro swing Vol.1" signed by Chin-Chin Records label.
Since 2012 she is spending her career flying all over the world to perform at the most exclusive venues, performing for private clients and high profile brands like Ferrari, Gucci, Pomellato, and many others.
TODAY ROSANTIQUE IS ONE OF THE HAPPIEST AND MOST SELF-EMPOWERED ARTISTS IN THE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS.
