Ace Ventura - Boom 2014 SET

CAPTAIN HOOK is the new project by Reshef Harari, from the center of Israel, who is already well-known as being half of the duo QUANTIZE as well as for his techno project SHEFF.

After the release of the debut Quantize album at late 2008 on Iboga Records he has been in high demand on dance floors across the globe – from Universo Paralello, XXXPerience, Tribe, Playground & Atmosphere in South America to Burning Man & Symbiosis in the US as well as some of the biggest festivals on the European scene, such as Sonica, Antaris and Hadra, where Quantize have pumped out their unique fusion of psychedelic progressive techno trance. As already mentioned, he has been releasing techno-tunes on his own for a while with the project Sheff, with tunes heavily supported by key players like Umek, Erphun, and Perfect Stranger, and now the time has come for a solo-exploration of the progressive side of psychedelic trance with the new project Captain Hook! Heavy basslines, crunchy grooves, and a sound very suited for nighttime are the ingredients, with a focus strictly for the dance floor, things are looking very interesting for the coming months as well as 2011. Releases are on the way on Iboga Records, Echoes, Plusquam, and Blue Tunes including remixes of Ace Ventura, Neelix, Ritmo, Easy Riders, and Psysex as well as collaborations with Tetrameth, Zen Mechanics, and Ace Ventura. ----> Smoke Sign is the main project of Oregon based producer Krysalis Moon. From a very early age he was enamored with music (originally trained as a vocalist) & has a rich musical background thanks to his family. His journey with electronic music began in 1998 as a listener and dancer, and by 2006 he had started organizing underground events in Eugene. In 2009 he had fallen so deeply in love with dance music that he started on the road of creation, for the next two years Kris poured hours & hours into production, obsessively digging into Cubase until Smoke Sign was born. Smoke Sign has an eclectic yet specific sound, pulling from both the ancient & modern worlds to weave audible magic. His conjurations are a fusion of many genres and media sources, combining elements of psytrance, house, techno, downtempo, world music & captivating vocals into his signature story telling style.

His attraction to Psychedelic Trance began with deep dark tech Trance such as: Dark Soho, the Delta, Atmos and Midi Miliz. Then went further back to old school Goa Trance such as: Cosma, Man With No Name and Etnica.  Hypnotized by these astonishing sounds in his home at Skopje, Macedonia, he felt the need to take part in this mysterious culture and create his own psychedelic interpretation. In 2001, he started to penetrate into the culture, first as a DJ and party promoter, and then when the urge to create his own sound increased, Lazovski started producing. In 2008, Egorythmia emerged into the world.  His unique and magnetic sound quickly got Iono Music’s attention, and he was immediately signed to join the family in 2008.  Since that moment his music has skyrocketed across the Psychedelic Progressive Trance sky.  With his tunes Egorythmia has got the whole world hooked up on his music.  Always on the move, Egorythmia is fired up and his flame is going to get bigger and brighter. Follow the heat, follow the light.

At 16, Yonatan discovered electronic music, and was captivated. Roscoe Deem, known professionally as R’Deem and Room47, is a versatile DJ, producer, and artist from Belgium, now residing in Spain, renowned for his mastery across many genres: psychedelic progressive, melodic techno, progressive house, techno, Afro House, Deep house, and anything that fits the sets. Roscoe Deem’s career ignited in the late 1990s within the techno scene, where he gained recognition for his vinyl sets alongside icons like DJ Rush, Claude Young, and Marco Bailey.

In 2001, Roscoe Deem embraced the psychedelic progressive genre, which became a cornerstone of his artistry. Roscoe Deem’s dynamic performances have graced major international festivals, including Tomorrowland, Vuuv, Indian Spirit, Tshitraka, The Experience Koh Tao, Blackmoon Culture, Jungle Experience, and Wonderland.

In 2004, Roscoe Deem founded Purple Snow Productions, a Belgium-based event company dedicated to showcasing psychedelic progressive, melodic techno, progressive house, and techno. Through this platform, Roscoe Deem introduced talents like Son Kite, Neelix, Symphonix, DJ Fabio, and D-Nox & Beckers to Belgian audiences, with events featuring headliners such as Ace Ventura, Perfect Stranger, and Ticon.
