Katy Rose and her awesome Dad - Kim Bullard - who plays in Elton John's band wrote this song. My good friend Tam Johnstone said I should do a cover of it. SO I asked Kim adn Katy and here it is. I wanted to get a real spooky vibe going on that represents the loneliness I often feel. It was very cathartic to record this and I love playing this one live. I adore the subject and how relevant it is to how I sometimes feel! I've continued to co-write a few more more songs with Katy Rose. She is a kindred spirit and a legend.

“I’d been on a bender the night before and I turned up dressed in a pillowcase,” says Rosie of her first meeting with Dan. “We totally hit it off.” A jerky alt.pop triumph, the song pays homage to both David Byrne and Kate Bush, telling the wild tale of an extremely unexpected night out in Manhattan. 

‘Sticky’ is taken from RosIe forthcoming second solo album, ‘Weirdiful’. It follows 2016’s self-titled debut which was Album of the Month in GQ, who called the singer-songwriter “the best thing to come out of Cornwall since Poldark”.
