Khruangbin is a band from Texas, started in 2011 by Laura Lee (bass), Mark Speer (guitar), and DJ (drums). We like to make music in a barn. 

Having played in, as well as worked with, many bands from in and around Texas/California, to me, the struggle is a common sight. Whether it's booking locally, dealing with promoters, working in the studio, or being on tour, I've seen and been through it. This solo project is a personal endeavor to escape the everyday trials of the struggling artist. Simply, my goal is to create.
