Born in Haiti, and raised on Long Island, Bert G. always had a passion for music. With a father who was a jazz musician, Bert G., was constantly surrounded by music and it was only a matter of time before he found his own voice in the world of hip hop.
Inspired by the likes of J Cole, early Kanye, and Andre 3000, Bert G. began to craft his own unique sound, blending elements of jazz, and hip hop to create sonic dreamscapes in his music.
Determined to pursue his dream of making music full-time, Bert G took a leap of faith and quit his day job, dedicating himself fully to his craft. And it paid off, as Bert G., has quickly gained a devoted following with his thought-provoking lyrics and soulful beats.
Bert G.’s debut album, "You Were Here the Whole Time," reflects his journey of self-discovery, confronts his fears that he was too old to rap, and the realization that the person he needed to be was inside him all along. With a message of hope and perseverance, Bert G. is poised to make waves in the music industry and inspire others to chase their dreams.
