Born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, Jimmy Eleven cultivated his love of music by immersing himself in any music he could get his hands on. Whether it was trying to scratch his mum’s 12” disco records on an old Alba hi-fi or visiting countless record shops for the latest hits, it seemed natural that this appreciation of music and performance would lead to a career as a DJ.
		
After leaving school, Jimmy cut his teeth like any good DJ - spending endless hours practicing in his bedroom and handing in mixtapes to bars/clubs hoping for a break. Before long, Jimmy gained an enthusiastic following for his sound, and the buzz generated by his mixes made invitations to perform at clubs as a headliner inevitable. Since then he has established a reputation as one of Scotland’s most innovative and exciting talents, commanding residencies at Glasgow’s top nightspots, along with his highly sought after guest appearances along the length and breadth of the country. 

Jimmy’s eclectic style is the product of a rock solid and wide-ranging musical education, grounded in a real passion for everything he plays. In a fast moving industry where DJ’s are often no more than the flavour of the week, he has remained at the forefront of the scene for years by ensuring his distinctive style reflects the changing tastes of the next generation of clubbers. Cutting up music drawn from any genre, including Hip-Hop, House, Soul, Pop, Moombahton and more Jimmy presents his audience with a truly unique experience, challenging them to keep up as he skillfully selects the right records which are matched only by his ability to artfully blend them together. Whether it’s an open format set or a night of Hip-hop, Jimmy Eleven will rock the club.

Jimmy has also taken to the stage with other high profile DJ’s and acts such as Chase and Status, Example, MC Rage and Artful Dodger among others in recent years. He has also performed at exclusive after parties for the likes of Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Redbull, Vans and Radio 1.
