ModGoblin Records began in 2015, created by Josh 
Balsdon (Audiospazm) and Jason Sorensen (Oddrapod) both from FNQ Australia. 
Formed on the basis of having a Local FNQ, and Australian Dark prog/psy label, to unify the talented Australian dark prog producers/DJ's. ModGoblin aims to be part of the bigger community, and as for the Goblin's, friendship, support, and a family-ideal is something ModGoblin firmly believes in.
With intentions to spread the deep, dark and the mystical side of Intelligent Progressive/Psygressive trance and also support international underground artists and Dj's.

The ModGoblin sound can best be described as “Dark and Mystical, Tech-like percussion with Psychedelic elements and high quality, futuristic sound design”. 
The distinct sound of "ModGoblin Records" can not be missed... Using darkness, distortion, Groove, organic and animalistics- eerie and ominous soundscape's, focusing on the unknown, and undiscovered. 
The ModGoblin crew strives to create something unique, something different - and are always looking for the next boundary to push.

Just can't get enough of my poison.  Intelligent music powerful enough to give your senses a nudge in the right direction. A kaleidoscope of unimaginable colours, geometrical fractals and the Earth's underlying vibrations. I love it twisted, dark n dirty.

I play Psygressive  and Forest every once in a while.  The forest, psychedelic and hi-tech gents have it waxed.
I prefer to play in the morning. A nice smooth transition from the madness that ensued the night before. Also an opportunity to see the smiling faces of the travellers returning from their evening escapades.

Hopefully well spent after the antics, I get to relax and enjoy the new day.

Lets leave the children to play with their "my little pony's and frogs" whilst i settle on my bed of marshmallows
