I made this track as part of the JUXTA art project to the theme of 'fire'. It's a nu-metal tune outlining a world decimated by climate change with disillusioned youth bent on “resetting” the world.

It's the first time I'm combining rap and rock like this and I'm amped to release it.

Inspired by the instrumental's nostalgic sample chops and boom bap drums, this is a wistful walk through times gone by. Lyrically, Rotaris speculates on "what might have been", while Zeadala (@zeadalamusic) turns her gaze into her formative years in Australian suburbia. The track finally unfurls into a meditative outro underpinned by harps, flutes, and electric guitars.

I scrapped 2 other song ideas and came up with this little piece. I actually had a vocal hook and an extra refrain as well, but I scrapped it because I couldn't sing it right no matter how hard I tried 😢

A little concept song about a flawed warrior misguided by religion who ends up commiting atrocities. Set during medieval times, I imagined this to take place after a battle in a royal palace.

Written in January 2019, this track paints a picture of some "pieces" in Rotaris' life. Namely, his reflections on the stolen land he resides in as an Australian immigrant, and dealing with the pressures of dating and finding "The One".

Rotaris makes hip hop for smart folks. He blends speedy flows and poetic flourishes together with deft instrumentation.

Born in Bangalore and based in Sydney, he infuses his experiences as an Indian-Australian over choice sample chops and drum grooves. His eclectic tastes are reflected in his music — with topics ranging from being a paper plane champion (he has represented Australia in the world finals), cheeky commentary on veganism, to examinations of pseudoscience.

A self-taught newcomer to the hip hop music scene, he has also performed in many local events such as Parramatta Lanes and 4Elements All Age Hip Hop Festival — where he shared the stage with the likes of L-FRESH The LION and Sarah Connor.
