The first track I've made with  an Arturia Micro brute which I've purchased (after selling lots of gear and a surf board!)

I had so much fun with this patch I recorded dozens of different versions...

Recorded in one pass with hand and foot controllers and digital and analog sequencing.

Kick from an er1 clocked from logics midi clock. Snare tip top 808 sequenced from logic with Doepfer a190.

The main motif is from two micro brute sequences, which are synced to the midi clock and transposed and changed by me in real time. The synchronised distortion noises are from a Doepfer patch where pitches from the microbrute are sent to the a100, modulated and spat back out using an a148, an a118, an a155 and an A177 foot controller. 

High hats from tip top 808 clone gated by the microbrute, open an shut by an a151, a160 and an a161 midi clocked with the a190.

All these tracks were mixed down into an analog mackie mixer.

The feedback delay noise is from a synthrotek pt2399 eko delay gated with foot a177 and modulated with A174-1 joystick. This was recorded into a separate track in logic and 'tidied' afterwards.

The bulk of this track was provided by a patch from a eurorack modular and a Arturia microbrute. One pass was recorded into 4 tracks in logic with a further track of vocals added, along with strings.

Tip top 808 kick and snare and doepfer bleeps were sequenced with Doepfer a155 midi clocked with an a190.1. Main Bleep noise throughout from Erica synth polivoks filter modulated by lfo from microbrute. Microbrute also provides the repetitive progression from a one note sequence being transposed by recorded midi notes. Vocals processed by ehx v256.

Strings from the kawai k4r were recorded in one take, kind of Captain Beefheart style where I didn't monitor the sound properly, so it comes in a bit randomly(!)
