Creado en 2006 Rotofest es un acontecimiento cultural pionero y único en su formato y contenidos: un referente nacional e internacional de primer orden gracias a una cuidada oferta que combina lo lúdico con lo artístico, la vanguardia y la experimentación con las nuevas corrientes musicales de la electrónica de baile.

Rotofest toma el pulso al panorama actual de las música electrónica e independiente con sus interacciones e hibridaciones con la creación digital, reuniendo a los artistas más consolidados y al talento emergente en todos los terrenos de la producción musical y audiovisual.

Born into a family of artists in Cuenca, Minerva grew up surrounded by musicians, DJs, and iconic local bands. A lifelong singer, she now explores minimal deep tech, techno, and organic sounds as a DJ and producer. Part of Soul 47, she has brought her hypnotic sets to clubs and festivals, emerging as one of Ecuador’s most exciting underground talents.

Mateo Neira, AKA Matte, born in 1991 in Quito, Ecuador, has been immersed in the electronic music scene for most of his life, performing at various events and venues both nationally and internationally. He has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Marco Bailey, Nathan Barato, Carlo Lio, Nastia, Hobo, among others. His artistic vision is rooted in the exploration of new sounds.

As part of his professional development, Mateo attended Arjaus, the official Ableton School in South America, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Under the mentorship of respected DJs and producers such as Mariano Trocca, Matías Sunblad, LondonGround, Manu Desrets, and Tommy Oddone, he deepened his expertise in mixing and music production, while immersing himself in the vibrant Argentine and South American electronic music scene.

His journey into electronic music began in 2008, attending major events such as the South American Music Conference (SAMC) and Rotofest in Cuenca, Ecuador, as well as live performances by international icons like Tiësto and Paul Van Dyk. These experiences sparked his passion for music and led him to explore genres such as Deep House and Progressive House, marking the beginning of his career as a DJ.

Since 2011, Mateo has participated in numerous events featuring artists like Paco Osuna, Mathias Kaden, Tony Rohr, Marco Carola, Christian Smith, John Acquaviva, Guy Gerber, and Alexi Delano. He has also traveled to Argentina and Colombia to experience performances by electronic music legends including Richie Hawtin, Alan Fitzpatrick, Stefano Noferini, Timo Maas, Alex Under, Ronan Portela, and Troy Pierce, further shaping his musical identity within the realms of Techno, Tech House, and Minimal.

Over the years, Mateo has performed at several clubs and festivals across Ecuador, including Acapulco Lounge, Bokeh Club, Nativa Bamboo (Montañita), Freaky Festival, La CircaCiana, Liv Club, Club Blues, Barroco Club, and Ki Lounge, among others.

Currently based in Quito, Ecuador, Mateo continues to refine his craft and expand his knowledge in music production, working on his first EP and exploring new creative directions. With an innovative mindset and an unwavering passion for music, Matte continues to evolve presenting undefined, dynamic sets and performing in rooftop sessions, house sessions, clubs, festivals, and more.

MAR-K is an Ecuadorian artist based in Medellín, Colombia, with over two decades of experience as a DJ, producer, and sound designer. His music blends minimal, deep tech, and house, always rooted in groove, simplicity, and depth.

He has released music on more than 30 international labels including King Street Sounds, CMYK Musik, Tip Tap, Mutetown, Unity Records, among others, and has earned support from renowned artists such as Dubfire, Marco Carola, Nicole Moudaber, Steve Bug, and Carlo Lio.

MAR-K is the founder of Ear Catcher (Modern Arts & Services), a creative school and online studio training producers across Latin America and the U.S. He also runs Vandalismo Company, a minimal-focused label based in Colombia.
