Quixotical Records' (@quixoticalrecords) latest release is all about dark disco and heavy deep indie-dance beats. Etane (@etanesounds) joins the Quixotical Family and brings on "Transfix" EP. Including 3 originals and 4 remixes by Aurum Miles (@aurummiles), Parissior, Ulises Arrieta, and Neowise. Top-notch quality music for top notch- dark raves. 

Comparing the original to the beautifully crafted remix by Aurum Miles, certain changes and improvements are basically evident, you can actually see them, by just listening. In contrast, this remake is very bold and provocative, in the sense it has one special quality that the primary version did not possess - audacity. And this just adds a new flavor to already masterful architecture. It's always interesting to hear a different take on the same track because it keeps the original alive and builds a profound legacy. These alterations always make you go back to the source, and revisit the "one" that spawned them all.

Ambrosia is the artistic name of Alexis Ramírez, an electronic music artist from Puerto Vallarta. He delivers 'Into Your Soul' with a dark touch and a hypnotic sequence, with flashes of melancholic overtones, ideal for opening the dance floor, with this track we conclude our third edition of ODDNESS by Bonkers Records.

QX PREMIERE: Ambrosía - Into Your Soul [BONKERS]

Pinorama starts this 2023 with Kielmannsegge’s latest remix delivery. A style cocktail ranging from nervous beats to mind-bending textures by some of the most talented and interesting Spanish producers.

We begin the trip with a dancefloor gem by Alvaro Cabana, a renowned producer from Madrid and head of the label Rotten City. 

As expected being a long-time friend of Feinstoff and surely one of the most shining personalities in the local scene, Cabana's remix for "Kingdom" is a bouncing dark funk bomb that explodes at the end with a final style twist, diving into the cosmic realm.

Bit Marten - First Time [K - Effect Master]

Petrvs is a DJ and hardware live performer/producer based in Paris. As a DJ, he proposes dark intensifying journeys ranging from downtempo and dark disco to heavy EBM. As a producer, he offers loops and tracks driven by powerful acid basslines with a setup of vintage synthetisers.

Petrvs is part of the duo Supertubos (full hardware live project) since 2017 and founder of Kasa Obake Records, a recent label focused mainly on hardware production since 2023.

Disco Suicide Mix Series 063 - Petrvs

Since his first appearance on Freerange Records in 2017, Astroloop (SXDNS253) has been carving his name in stone in the high-quality underground music scene. Inspired by Cosmic-Disco-infused House Music, it was not until his debut on New Day Everyday in 2021 that his focus has been solely on bringing to life well-constructed and creative Indie Dance cuts. His solid works published on Nothing Is Real, Latido, Ombra, and NEIN have established the rising Italian producer as one of the most prominent names of the genre.

He is now back on the British powerhouse NEIN with a driving & sharp EP featuring two peak-time beasts (“Hold Me” and “San Pedro) and a spot-on remix made with love by awesomely bearded Milano-based producer Tayga.

The track we were solicited to review/premiere depicts Astro flirting once again with his Cosmic Disco influences successfully paired with a proper amount of Acid and laser FXs. The ominous vocal hook and the powerful Blade-like synth stab cannot go unmentioned.
