This is my favourite song of 2023 and that's why it's my top pick! Ay-Yo is a powerhouse anthem that, to me, empowers anyone listening to go for their goals because one day, they will see themselves where they want to be rather than stay stuck following how others told them life should be.

I've been listening to NewJeans' "Get Up" wondering why it wasn't longer, so the team and I took it into our own hands. We present to you the EXTENDED version of what we think 'Get Up' would sound like! Conceptually, I wrote the lyrics as if the members were talking to their younger selves seeing how much they've changed as they've grown up. I tried to tie pieces of the "Cool With You" music videos (Side A & B) as well as the "Ditto" MV to enhance that feeling.  I hope you enjoy this experience as much as we did creating it.
