We're very happy to have a fresh debut on Bobbin Head Music from Jay Bhana. Jay started his career in South Africa, hosting events in his hometown of Port Elizabeth in 2006, and has emerged as a purveyor in all things house here in Sydney. "Squatter Camp" is a melodic journey through Jay's ears, and we loved it from the first listen. Effortlessly combining electric guitars, with rising pads, lush rhodes chords and live bass, "Squatter Camp" is a groove that's just built for listening in the sunshine.

On the remix is Dutch born artist, Dave Mayer. A resident here at Bobbin Head Music and one of our favourite artists, Dave gives "Squatter Camp" a delightful deep afro twist. Picking up the energy with some live percussion and some additional pads and vocal cuts, Dave's remix is the perfect addition to Jay's dreamy original.
