Calvin Ho (aka. Dj Kidcal) is an Australian graphic designer, illustrator and dj based in Hong Kong. He is the founder and Creative Director of AtomicAttack!, an independent design consultancy working for clients from around the world including DC Comics, Lane Crawford, Adidas, Nike, Microsoft, Shanghai Tang, Cartier, Nooka and many others. Calvin finds time to design, illustrate and dj for both personal and commercial projects and events.

His first dj gig was in 1988 in Sydney spinning Chicago house, UK dance, rare groove and disco classics. Moving to Hong Kong in the early 90's, he has been active in the underground scene for over 15 years from djing, party promoting, dj sourcing and management, creative marketing and a music consultancy. He has also been part of the Robot crew (the people behind Clockenflap) since 1996, a regular quirky night of funky techno and house. 

Dj Kidcal's influences range from an eclectic mix of Detroit techno, Acid House, Chicago House, Electro, Jazz, Funk, Rare Groove, Hip Hop, Trip Hop and Classical music.

Kidcal has supported the likes of Cassius, Gilles Peterson (Brownswood/Talkin' Loud), United Future Organisation, Eddie Pillar, and special events for Adidas, Nike, Diesel, IT and others. He had regular nights range from the Jazz Club in Hong Kong playing rare groove, jazz, funk and house music jamming with a live ensemble of drums, congos, and live vocalists to events of over 3000 people playing house and techno.

In 1999, Calvin opened up an independent dance music record shop in Hong Kong called "AtomicAttack! Record Shop" selling vinyl and cds from House and techno (mainly from French underground scene, Chicago House, Detroit Techno) funk, jazz, nujazz, drumNbass, old school hip hop. In the same year, he co-founded, sole designer and creative director for the iconic Chalk! Magazine with his friend/editor Brandon Ho, an underground fanzine for underground dance music, local bands, fashion and art.

His most recent activities include djing at the Clockenflap event in December 2012 as part of the Robot crew, illustrating and designing the new album cover for Archie Pelago's new EP to be released in May 2013 and designing their record label branding. He recently exhibited at The Space Gallery in Hong Kong for his personal ink drawings.
