Routher, a talented producer of the Brazilian scene and co-founder of the Melodic Eye collective, currently resides in Vila Velha – ES and has already released tracks on the main Melodic Techno labels in Brazil, such as Prisma Techno, Prototype and Mind Connector.

In 2022, Routher begins his career at the Hidden Portal label with the EP 'Mystic Connection', consisting of two original tracks.

In confused and uncertain times, in which people are increasingly disconnecting from feelings and from themselves, Routher brings the message of the need to reconnect through a mystical way and strengthen ourselves to move forward in the best way.

The track 'Mystic Connection', the title track of the EP, is marked by a constant bass line, loaded with bass, with increasing atmospheric elements that generate the atmosphere of suspense, along with sounds that symbolize the connection. In the development of the track, new elements of classic synthesizers emerge with melodic lines inspired by the mystery, helping to build the atmosphere for a mystical connection.

In 'Fortan' the experience is governed by a bass that generates an intimate groove, with metallic elements and atmospheric sounds inspired by vocals from religious choirs and outer space. It has a break inspired by Breakbeat, breaking the monotony of the imposed rhythm. 'Fortan' comes with the aim of bringing reflection on how truly strong we are to make a difference.

As we use to say, there can't be a better start of the year than with accompaniment of the splendid piece of music and we have for you the perfect release to kick off 2022 with! 2021 started with delightful music composed in the magical land of Australia by Michael Shannon aka Eukali. In 2022, at this point in the year, we're gladly visiting an island continent lying between the Indian and Pacific oceans once again. Based in the city of Canberra on Ngunnawal country, Peter O'Rourke aka Kazuki has established himself as an adept DJ and electronic music producer building on a lifelong love of music. With a string of releases of originals and remixes to his name across a range of labels at home and abroad, Kazuki's tracks have seen support from and played by artists such as John 00 Fleming, Guy J, Max Graham, Ovnimoon among many other great names. After his first highly acclaimed EP on Deepersense Music titled "Red Dawn", Peter is back with a new, excellent original track called "Witches". On the remix duties we have label head-honcho CJ Art, who had many occasions to road test this release on the dance-floors and it works perfectly!

Mystic Connection (Original Mix) [Hidden Portal Records]

As we move into the summer season, we're super excited to welcome ReCorpo to ICONYC Noir with his brand new 3 track '00.00 EP' to warm the hearts. We kick things off with 'Flight of a Moth' which features an amalgamation of smooth bass tones, subtle drum programming, a cleverly chopped samples and intricately weaved chord progressions, building to a beautiful breakdown before gradually rebuilding the elements to an unrelenting crescendo of breathy synth licks, chord stabs and an ever-warped bassline.

Next up is the title track '00.00' which is a stripped back affair utilizing a hypnotizing chord as the basis of the track underpinned by a staccato rhythm that gradually eases its way to the breakdown of breaks percussive elements before unleashing into a rising melodic hook intertwined with the infectious groove that fades in and out for maximum effect. Fantastic stuff!

Last but not least ReCorpo provides 'For You' to close out their fine debut on ICONYC Noir in style, showcasing beautiful orchestral strings and luscious drum programming to create a lovely grove, which really augments the flow of the track. ReCorpo shows his love for melodic and deep FX, which are oozing of coolness and are accentuated by warm pads that feel like a silky blanket of sonic spheres, which wrap you into an alluring soundscape.

ReCorpo's '00.00' is a lovely mind-bending collection of tracks that are wrapped in a smooth blanket of warming sounds for the progressive house and melodic techno loving sound aficionado. A musica se fez presente logo na sua juventude, bem novo já tinha contato com alguns instrumentos, mas foi dos sintetizadores que surgiu a grande emoção. Desde então o amor pela musica eletrônica acompanha seus passos.

Surgiu no ano de 2008 a vontade de comandar uma cabine de discotecagem, e tornou-se cada vez mais comum ver seu nome em Line Ups das festas de musica eletrônica do sul de minas, vivendo intensamente a cena da região.

Juntando a experiência adquirida no comando das cabines por mais de uma década e o sentimento musical aguçado, em 2015 iniciou os estudos voltados a produção musical, chegando em poucos meses a resultados expressivos, o que possibilitou levar suas musicas autorias as suas apresentações, e lançando em gravadoras consolidadas no mercado como PRISMA TECHNO, THREE HANDS RECORDS, MIND CONNECTOR, PRISON ENTERTAINMENT.

Music was present in his youth, at a very young age he already had contact with some instruments, but it was from the synthesizers that the great emotion arose. Since then, his love for electronic music follows his steps.

In 2008, the desire to show the different sound that made him move arose, so he decided to venture into a cabin, and it became increasingly common to see his name in Line Ups at electronic music parties in the south of Minas, intensely living the scene of the region.
