It’s Scour Records’ one year anniversary! Twelve months ago we released Scour Cream Volume 01, so to mark the occasion we thought we’d hold a Hunger Games-type celebration, unfortunately none of us are very good with weapons or murder or being murdered. An Olympics style celebration seemed a little over the top, It’s A Knock Out was on the cards but our budget ran out after making one large shoe for the Bulgarians. So we’ve scaled it down, come round to ours and have a proper party, old school fancy dress styleeee!

All the party games are prepped - pass the parcel, pin the tail on the donkey, kiss chase, naked twister, finger the angry fox, trampoline darts on poppers, all the big ones! The party sideboard is prepared! Vimto for the gents, cherryade for the ladies, Babycham for the hardcore fetishists. Bombay mix, cocktail sausages, cheese and pineapple, vol-au-vants (hopefully filled with whatever made Kerry Katona go all fruity) Anything missing, hmmmm….of course! An assortment of nuts and some party tunes! All wrapped up in a free 4 track goody bag for each and every one of you to take home!

Father Funk rocks out the bubble perm and comes strutting through the front door like a funky white brother. Who’s he come as? Mika? Kevin Keegan? No silly! He’s come as Leo Sayer!

Leo fires a bazooka in through the porch and shoots two AK47’s like he’s trying to kill every mother in the room. Apparently he likes his men like he likes his coffee (with milk and two sugars) Pimpin’!

Is that Prince tucking into the Jelly and Ice Cream? ha! Yes! It’s Warp9! Top costume!, really would prefer it if you didn’t try and make our doves cry though…they really don’t like to see your starfish impression…

The Phunk Junkies need no encouragement to crack the pearls out, before you can say ’Sir Very Elton of John’ they’ll be in a wig and heels, have the lippy on and be sashaying down the hall towards the toilet. RuPaul? Lilly Savage? Oh hell no, those legs can only belong to Dame Shirley Bassey.

Hang on a sec, sorry about this….LEO! GET YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE FOX!! it’s not time yet! Father! Leave the Phunk Junkies alone, it’s not that kind of party! Put the guns down! Oh for God’s sake!

Behind Maschine Brennt you will find Joacim Thenander, a guy with a long experience in DJ:ing and making computer-based music. His DJ career started already in 1982, playing electro tracks from artists like Afrika Bambaataa, Newcleus and Man Parrish. He went digital when the first version of Traktor arrived in the end of the century. In the late ‘80s he was a member of industrial synth band Systema The Affliction, and later he was the driving force behind the thrashsynth/hiphop crossover duo Cultivated Bimbo. In the ‘90s he released more mainstream dance music and remixes, mainly house and techno stuff, but also a few drum’n bass tracks. Maschine Brennt (MB) was born 1991 as a project on the side of Cultivated Bimbo. The following year, Maschine Brennt made only three public performances, and together with Joacim was a few more members on stage to add some extra spice to the almost theatrical performances. Maschine Brennt made just a handful more tracks during the ‘90s, and after the turn of the millenium Joacim concentrated more on his other projects focusing on techno/house again. Today, Joacim is releasing tracks using many different names, such as Mobhead, Gorgl, Killa Dawgs, Joey Lucas, Syntronik and Microlab. But the main focus is once again Maschine Brennt and the electro that influenced him 1982.

Diego Diaz influenced by the sounds of Electro Techno , EBM and Industrial began his artistic career in 2007 as Delectro experiencing in his sound creations with strong bass lines accompanied by loud drums and atmospheric pads. Soon his productions were characterized by a strong and forceful sound heavy and dense.
In 2010 he began his career as a DJ playing alongside the greatest national exponents positioning itself as one of the most representative artists of Electro Techno EBM in Bogota and Colombia.
In 2011 creates in company with James Hates Us and Bluekim the promoter group and record label "Complejo Industrial" promoting in Bogota and Colombia the Electro Industrial EBM Techno sound.
In 2013 he published his song “Mist"(supported by "Dave Clarke" in his charts and in his Radio Show “White Noise") in the compilation ”Killer Hits From Hell Killers VI" on Al Ferox Label "Dancefloor Killers".
Delectro has shared the stage with important international artists such as Alec Empire, The Horrorist , Al Ferox, Equitant and Stamba among others.
Delectro currently directs the promoter group "Complejo Industrial" promoting national and international artists in the city of Bogota and Colombia.

Drox is a DJ, Live Act and Producer who has honing his skills for over a decade. He is one of the founders of the Analog Cabin recording Studio and label based in Sydney, Australia.

As a DJ Drox has a thing for the old school and digs long and hard for rare electro cuts and classic dub plates. When it comes to his studio work he takes a similar approach, never taking the easy road, he's always experimenting with various techniques and recording approaches taking heavy influence from the many styles in his vast vinyl collection. Constantly moving thru different bits of obscure gear he's amassed a hefty sample library of obscure and circuit bent machines giving his productions a unique and distinguishable sound.
