'Eklektisch’s 60th release features one of the most promising talents in the scene at the moment: Mozaik (FR).

This EP announces the beginning of a new imprint, more melodic techno orientated than their previous tracks. “We allow ourselves to be guided by our emotions and inspirations without limiting ourselves. As all our tracks, this EP tells a story and we tried more than ever to have the perfect balance between introspective, dreamlike emotions side and strong, punchy, club side”.

There is a real signature sound in this EP by the usage of airy synths/pads around  big synth lead/arp for each track. For the percussions, Mathieu and Alexandre Verrier add some field rec and foley sounds which give the originality to the drums. Finally, powerful breakdowns with broken beats in each track; “the breakdown is really important for us, this is where all the beauty of the track appears."

Isolate’s owner Alican delivers a groovy and more melodic version for the finest ears.'

The latest release from Astral Records welcomes Lastraw and Nine Collins to the label for their debut EP. The former has enjoyed a near decade long career as a producer, showcasing his techno sounds via Exotic Refreshment, Rhythmetic Records and Us and Them Records. Meanwhile, Nine Collins has enjoyed similar success as a DJ, playing some of Greece's trendist venues such as Tokyo City Bar, Club Division and The Real Rock n Rolla. Having made their collaborative debut with a contribution to the Movement Recordings 'Technical Progress' Vol. 11 collection earlier this year, Lastraw and Nine Collins now present their first ever artist EP entitled 'Her Kind'.

Beginning with the title selection the duo explores the depths of cosmic techno with a heady creation that's sure to get your dance floor moving. Waves of rippling bass power forward, setting the foundation, while clattering percussion and crunchy rhythms encase the framework. Adding further intrigue, a spoken word vocal narrative intertwines with the astral themes as wavy arps rise to prominence. Racing towards the main break, the groove strips down for a colourful entry, moving through striking artefacts and processed vocals, perfectly setting up an emotional bridge into an exhilarating finale.

The latest release from Astral Records welcomes Moodayz and Areeas to the label for their debut EP. Based in Switzerland, the occasional studio partners began their collaborative journey in April of 2019 with a release courtesy of Three Hands Records. Inspired by the sounds of Solomun and Tale of Us, Moodayz and Areeas capitalized on the success of their debut with subsequent projects for Family N.A.M.E, Mimesis Records and Sweet Music. Now continuing their collaborative journey, Moodayz and Areeas debut on Astral Records with 'Remedial' alongside a remix from label A&R Paul Anthonee. 

The lone interpretation of 'Remedial' is provided by label A&R Paul Anthonee who returns for his second appearance. The Cyprus based producer has the distinction of delivering the inaugural Astral Records offering earlier this year with the release of his 'A World Beyond' EP. Also laying claim to outings courtesy of Beatfreak Recordings, Lost On You, Parquet, Steyoyoke and Suara, Paul now returns to Astral Records with a powerful rendition of 'Remedial'. Backed by a rippling groove and tight rhythms, it's cavernous pulse quickly becomes infectious. Billowing stabs and striking effects offset each other nicely, as fiery percussion builds momentum across the first act. Utilized beautifully, the lead theme strikes at opportune moments, blanketing the pulsating underbelly, before perfectly segueing into a tense, effects-laden break and dramatic final movement. A stunning interpretation from Paul which rounds out a must have Astral Records debut for Moodayz and Areeas.

Welcome back Miyagi with his new single "Khan" featuring vocals by Haptic. The tune start's calm and reduced, sparkled with little synth bits before the unique and dark vocal by Haptic hit's in. Throughout the end the track opens up into a beautiful soundscape full of mesmerizing pads and effects. Darin Epsilon's take on "Khan" is more housy and functional with a warm synth hookline.
