Let Me Be The First To Go

John Roy Zat (aka John Croizat) has been performing in the greater San Francisco Bay Area since the 1970's.  Kate Wolf recorded his words to "Midnight On The Water" for her second album, and the song has since been covered by Banish Misfortune, Caroline Herring and others.  Since 2011, John has released three CDs,  "Solo", "Collaborations", and "Who Zat",  all of which have gotten consistent airplay on independent radio and charted well on Roots Music Report and other radio play lists.

With Appalachian influences, Cajun, dust bowl, and a dash of rockabilly, John's songs highlight the bittersweet ups-and-downs of life, and the promise of love we all have within us.  "Great lyrics, rich vocals, solid guitar picking, and his fiddling rocks !!"
