Jepe lands on Surrrealism with "Portraits EP".

The Portuguese talent signs a beautifully crafted release, combining all his skills for a myriad of aural sensations in 4 formidable tracks. Alican is the perfect guest to put the finishing touch with a high-flying remix.

"Portraits" leads the way. With a surgeon's subtlety, Jepe delights us with his most sensual side. A waste of elegant and warm sounds, accompanied by a masterful Vars who with his voice enhances the beauty of a track for fine ears. Activate your senses, Jepe is in the house.

"Wutzsee" is the second track of this story. Once you've warmed up, it's time to tighten the screws. Showing his versatility, the Portuguese virtuoso changes his jacket to show us another of his facets. A rhythm marked with a melody that advances stealthily towards the abyss. The majestic progression ends in a euphoric explosion.

The Swindlers return and not a minute too soon as far as we’re
concerned!  The hardest working duo in house music have had a
mental couple of years playing every club and festival known to
man, having babies, seemingly buying up the entire stock of vintage
studio gear off ebay and thankfully knocking out some banging tunes
on top of all that.  Well all club bangers gratefully received here
at Freerange so with open arms and ears we’re happy to be bringing
you the Figure Of Speech EP.
Just as the non-believers think they know what to expect from these two they’ve thrown a rather large curveball and headed down a different road. Figure Of Speech wears some African influences on its sleeve with a bumping party groove punctuated by some nifty
afro beat keys stabs and just a hint of acid. Victoria’s Secret
treads more familiar Detroit Swindle territory with the boys trademark shuffling beats and larger-than-life side-chained pads bringing the drama. Finally, we have suitably titled Live At The Cosmic Carnival where we’re treated to some peaktime tribal business with rolling bass, dubbed out dancehall science and some nifty conga work. All in all, some fiyah for the dancefloor from a pair of lads who know a thing or two about how to get a room jumping.

Providing us with a fine dose of New York house pleasure once again, we have the third EP in the St. David trilogy, ‘Disco Jam’, released on Brooklyn's favourite party label ‘Let’s Play House’. Following on from his successful 2018 release, ‘House Jam’, this zesty record is equally as lively, fresh and fun. The track entitled ‘Sexy Funk 98’ is bursting with energy, rhythm and old school house grooves from the offset and we are delighted to hear such bubbling funky music from St. David whom we ca always rely on for a spirited slinky house track.

‘Sexy Funk 98’ - he couldn’t have given the track a more suitable name. The Italian MPC lover satisfies dancers with his high-tempo, floor-filling luxurious sounds, allowing us to give the summer a long kiss goodbye. We expect to be hearing this sleek track deep into the winter months as its vibrant early 90s house feels are able to bring summery flavours to any dancefloor, especially when the crowd is wanting that burst of sunshine. With releases on prestigious labels like Frole Records, Unknown Chicago and Underground Fundamentals its great to see the artist back with Nik Mercer and Jacques Renault of ‘Let’s Play House’.
