Hot Tamales!

Dessert, as a course, wasn’t always the grand finale.
In fact, dessert as we know it, a separate sweet moment, only appeared in the 17th and 18th centuries. Before them, sweet dishes were scattered throughout the meal, often served alongside meats and stews, or used to aid digestion. 
Speaking of dessert, let’s talk about one of the hardest ones to make: The Macaron.
