Carlo Giustini is a field recordings, tape manipulator, sound researcher and experimental musician based in Treviso, Italy. His music combines field recordings, warm organic drones and deep haunted sounds caught with contact microphones on micro-cassette recorders and other old audio gear. His previous albums released on the labels Lontano, Shimmering Moods, ACR, Purlieu, No Rent, Bad Cake Records and Élan Vital.

Bio:
Lokom made his steps in Grenoble where he discovered underground electronic scene in the 2000s.
He quickly developed a passion for live and especially the FM synthesis.
Addicted to bass music with an acid touch, Lokom now work under the sign of the experimentation analog psyche-conductive.

This is a compilation of parts from recordings I made when creating patches for the Prophet 12 synthesizer. I recorded much more, but edited down to the the best bits.

DISCLAIMER: There is no particular musicianship in these demos. They were recorded whilst patching mostly with one hand on the keyboard and the other hand tweaking knobs. The purpose of uploading is to give an idea of the tone, sound and character of the Prophet 12 as explored by one sound designer.

Before the summer 2020, in his "Basic Groove" radio show, Antony Adam organizes a Blitz Challenge Remix around the deep techno track "Reset the world" composed by Adam Carling and Nick De Voost. All producers had one week to create a remix.
It was a real success, 22 remixes came from all around the world ! France, Germany, USA, Portugal and Switzerland.
Frequency Shift Recordings decides to release all remixes, in two mega-pack releases, "The Techno remixes" and "The unclassifiable remixes".
