Case Study Songs is the debut EP of “Deathsport”. It deals with very specific feelings and dissects those in simple structure and chanson styled lyrics from an everyday perspective. It is a case study about our post pandemic thoughts, being as raw and honest as never before: Simple three chord progressions, glassy synths and a voice that wants to be heard.

Punk pariahs, Drastic//Automatic, exert themes of senseless violence, frustrated frenzy and parody on their monstrous third single, ‘The Cup Final’. 

The band’s third single, self-described as an ‘anti-anthem’, satirizes football culture and celebratory concepts associated with the punishing nature of the sport. Overloaded with pejoratives and dismay surrounding the greed of modern football, the track highlights the absurd anger of football fans and social attitudes towards the backwashed corporate heist of the ‘beautiful game’. Listeners embark on a gruelling early morning warm up, entering a world of uproar and revelry, as if stepping into a volcanic football stadium.
