As autumn approaches, Black Seven Music is gearing up to release a magnetic two-tracker, the 'Rock Up EP', from the brilliant collaborative minds of BRODYR and GIMBO. This offering presents a masterclass in weaving understated yet pulsating rhythms that beckon listeners to the dance floor. 

Opening the stage is 'Rock Up', an absolute terrace roller rooted in groovy low-end foundations and graced with cool vocal glitches. Its minimal vibes do not hold back the richness of the groove that drives the track, proving that simplicity can indeed breed sophistication when handled with a masterful touch. This track promises to keep the dance floor engaged with its hypnotic rhythm and mesmerising beats. 

Next up is 'Love', another low-end roller that pairs beautifully with its predecessor. The nice vocal layering shines brightly here, adding an extra dimension to the stripped-back vibes that govern the EP. It's a groove haven, with rhythmic pulses guiding listeners into a state of musical bliss, urging them to let go and immerse themselves in the rhythm of the moment. Title track 'Push It' firmly sets the calibre of the release, the rolling bass pattern underpinning crisply saturated percussion. 

'Banger' does exactly as it says on the tin, the thumping kick backed up with distorted midrange layers whilst 'Housess' drives home Vidaloca's vocal cutting prowess.

Caleb Calloway provides the remix for 'Push It, with the Puerto Rican heavyweight adding his creative flair to what is another standout EP for Underground Audio

Hector Couto’s Roush Label welcomes French duo Chicks Luv Us to the imprint this May, alongside a remix courtesy of Madrid’s FreedomB.
Marseille based duo Anthony Fonseca and Julien Nerani, aka Chicks Luv Us, have made a considerable impact since breaking onto the scene in late 2014, releasing productions on Get Physical Music, Wow! Recordings and CUFF, whilst gracing the decks at the likes of Ministry Of Sound and Studio 338 (London), alongside their long-standing residency at Spartacus Club (Cabries). Following recent notable material on Relief, Elrow Music and Repopulate Mars, here we see the duo arrive on Couto’s Roush for a label debut, whilst FreedomB turns in an impressive remix on the flip. Title cut ‘Pick Of The Club’ opens proceedings as slick, metallic drum loops, infectious vocal hooks and rich chords combine fluently, before ‘The Other One’ unveils a medley of soulful female and echoed out male vocals laid over a wicked, driving bassline and energetic snare rolls. Last up, FreedomB’s groove focused remix completes the package as the Spanish producer works swirling synths, regimented percussion patterns and ever-evolving effects to great effect throughout.
