Returning in time for what is the first 'normal' summer for many of us, Tomi & Kesh's NoZzo Music imprint follows an impressive release from the label heads with the latest instalment from their always entertaining 'The NoZzo's' compilation series.

Opening the release, DJ Entwan's percussive-focused roller 'Back Again' brings the terrace vibes with potent low-frequency drive and subtly rising melodies. Franz Costa's 'Proper Propaganda' has a spring in its step with stripped-back drums and
rumbling sub-bass cut that through a bed of crisp percussive layers and attention-grabbing vocal.

Gustaff's 'Persianikas' drives the release back into the realm of uptempo rolling Tech with more high-energy instrumental flair, bright melodies and sultry vocals from end to end whilst Horo's 'The Groovy' follows nicely with Jazz-laced flavours mixed into a gritty combination of racy rhythms and engaging musicality.

'Just Stop' sees Kristofferson deliver an elegantly dreamy cut with hearty drum grooves, rattling percussive momentum and reverberating hypnotic layers from the outset. Lautaro Bidegain follows with 'Dancers', combining swaying rhythms and rolling sub-bass alongside sensual vocals, waves of climactic builds and atmospheric suspense.

Mad&Meis' 'Vanguard' charms you with shuffling hats and fizzing shakers alongside an intriguing spoken vocal hook supplemented by bright synths, pads and tones that add a subtle summertime feel. Matt Arnold's 'Break It Down' features an impressive display of his increasingly-popular style of simplistic rolling Tech grooves complemented by catchy basslines and delicate melodies with cadent vocal chops and engaging elements from start to finish.

Nacho Scoppa's 'Hood Style' pumps the gas as we come towards the end of the release. Blistering rhythms and heavyset kick drums bounce off pulsating sub-bass whilst the track glides through peaks and troughs alongside vox chops, creative fills and instrumental flair. Shakti's 'Bounce' brings the release to a quintessentially groovy end, combining a prominent bassline with punchy drum work and endless layers of rippling percs. Beyond this, rising melodies and filtered vocals swirl away into several ultimately enjoyable and impactive drops.

Making his debut on Libero, Oxford-based Gibraltarian producer, Jezen. Following on from an impressive stream of releases, ‘The Things You Know’ EP delivers an exceptional combination of original club cuts, both tracks already played by Marco Carola, Loco Dice and more - supplemented by a remix from Leicestershire talents, Murphy’s Law.

‘Like You Should’ takes the shape of a late-night mood setter. A quintessential Music On-esque number - often a treat for the earlier dancefloor descendants - comprising a potent mixture of percussive factors, punchy kicks, and crisp rhythms. Throwing a pinch of the early 2010s deep house flavour in with its bassline and synth melodies; a steady groover that leaves a lasting effect.

‘The Things You Know’ turns the momentum up slightly, adding more roll and shuffle into the mix. Crammed with atmospheric scenes and injections of cadent flair. Continuing the fashion of strong, reminiscent melodic undertones, yet another standout track with indisputable impact.

Completing the triple threat, Murphy’s Law remix of the title track injects yet another layer of energy into the release. A robust adaptation of ‘The Things You Know’ with a constant, blistering low end and raw harmonics offer a gritty alternative to an already definitive piece of music. With hints of UK Tech character dotted throughout, the increasingly-popular duo rounds off the release nicely.

Jezen - Like You Should (Dub Mix)

The UK newcomer duo Murphy's Law challenges the "Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong" sentence with this great single entitled 'Numero Uno'. With such a great composition and looking at their last works on labels such as Low:Res and Under No Illusion, we are sure that nothing can go wrong with them. That's why we think that 'Numero Uno' will be a nice breakthrough to our label's fans. Currently they have 2 tops on Beatport Tech-House genre which are heavily supported by napolitan capo, Marco Carola. Regarding to the single's very first beats, a heavy organ bassline appears carrying the weight of the track and catching the audience. The dialogue used between a man and a woman gives a great pace to the cut while well-placed effects maintains the attention of the listener on every beat. Of course, an effective tech-house arrangement makes this 'Numero Uno' a nice weapon.
