Ugochill is an indie music project spearheaded by Alex Rado, musician and veteran of the independent music scene, based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. 
Launched as an innovative and creative outlet, Ugochill reflects Rado’s multifaceted talents as a multi-instrumentalist and producer, embodying a DIY ethos while embracing collaborations with artists and friends from across the globe. 
The project’s sound is a fusion of hard and retro rock, guitar-driven instrumentals, and chilled-out vibes, often layered with influences from artists like Pink Floyd, Joe Satriani, and Mike Oldfield, creating a distinctive blend that balances power and relaxation.

Music has always been my passion. I started music composition from childhood and went into professional digital music guitar lessons from 2006.


Ever since I got into recording, I have recorded over 137 songs and countless written and unwritten songs. The song "Philosophies of Life" as one powerful simple and innocent song of my early days guitar training. A song I actually started with free strings and did the studio recording in 2012.

I specifically flow with Pop-reggea and techno songs infused with creative twist to pass evergreen messages to humanity at large. 

As a Yoga therapist and philosopher, I have come to realize that good music doesn't mean you must become a copycat to stand out. I believe good songs comes from the heart, so I sing from the heart.

I love legends like Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, Fela Kuti, Tupac, Lucky Dube, Bone thugs, Akon, Tuface, Don Willams and many more.
