It is hard to believe that the last time we spoke to Franco was back in October when we presented his Free Download track “When Anana Met Mango”. Since then there have been many tours that have taken Franco around the world and back again. The last time we saw him in action in the flesh was at last year’s FRRC OFF party where he squared off against Ricardo and Raresh for a very special b3b that stretched well into the morning. Playing at Mezcal Amores was an absolute dream come true. ✨
In Mitla, one hour from Oaxaca - mountains all around, an agave field straight out of a painting, with Olivia Steele’s glowing art installations and messages scattered across the landscape like guiding stars. A lineup full of artists I deeply admire. A production that left zero wishes unfulfilled. And a crowd that felt like home.
Honestly, it was a “pinch me” moment from start to finish. I’m endlessly grateful to have been part of this year’s Oaxaca Experience.
Deborah - the biggest thank you to you and your entire team of dv experiences for bringing us all together in such a magical way and making this weekend truly unforgettable.

I will remember this forever.

"Like, how is this even possible? - These are the words of my fiancée opening my set at this year's Maxa x Mayan Warrior linkup. I did ask myself the same thing standing on the deer, gazing into the sea of people and art cars in front of us, lost for words at the beauty of this moment. 

It was the first big night after the dust had settled and the rain had dried, and let me tell you - this set was beyond my wildest dreams. So much fun, incredibly special for so many reasons, and pretty surreal, especially considering that I had just arrived on the playa a few hours before after two exhausting days of travel. 
I walked the last miles through the desert to make it in time…

Thank you so much, Maxa and Mayan Warrior - this was sublime <3

I remember clearly how Brudi Bennet called me yeaaaaars ago on his way back from his first Conscious Madness, being slightly overwhelmed by how amazing his weekend was and telling me „WE REALLY REALLY NEED TO COME HERE TOGETHER NEXT YEAR“. Thanks to Brudi going there, he also explored 10 Mark DJ Team who years later should become our north stars when we started DJing ourselves. Ever since we experienced every version of CM that happened and we’re not exaggerating  when saying it is the best Festival we know. Perfect size, most amazing ground, super lovely crew and just simply unforgettable times we got to spend there with old and new friends. Highlights were for example seeing Justus and JPettersson at the beach, Alma Linda / Elizen the emperor in the field, meeting DJ Einkaufswagen or seeing 10 Mark DJ Team living their best life. 

We were devastated when the crew announced they will give CM a break after the 2023 version and then super delighted when they shared in 2024 that next year will happen again in a bit of a more compact version. 
Once the ticket sale was announced we already had 15 friends committed - when two weeks later the crew reached out to us and asked whether we would like to play this year, we could not believe it as this was kind of a bucket list thing for us. We ended up playing Sunday night closing the Bunker and went for a rather deep and meaningful set ✨

This summer was wild, super fun and diverse - but this one goes into the history books of Brudi&Spargel. Ending up with 20+ Champions league friends at this unique place and spending a super lush summer festival including going back and forth to our accommodation by boat simply was ridiculous. Shoutout to Max Hunter-Gordon and Maya (who is the mastermind behind the closing track "the way u make me feel") for coming all the way from the UK to experience this weekend with us 🫶

Huge thanks to the whole CM family for the invite and the amazing space you created for everyone joining once again. Much much love from the bottom of our hearts, we could not be more grateful <3333

PS much love and thanks to ciao 3lla for letting us use her unreleased edit of Sebastian Roches edit of Gangsta's Paradise in the intro that she used in a DJ workshop we visited last winter as an example for something in Ableton <3

Adding this extra dimension to the music created something truly unique — Frankey lost in keys and sound, while I focused on track selection and building towards a climax.
Being surrounded by so many friends from all over the world made it even better."

Live from 39c3 - the 39th Chaos Communication Congress

From crackling Kraut and Disco records to hyper produced Techno tracks - dance music has come a long way in the last six decades, and was always strongly influenced by evolving technology.

Dance music’s history is a feedback system between culture and circuitry. Each new invention, from the disco subwoofer to today’s neural-driven mastering tools, reshapes sound itself. RSS Disco’s timeline approach celebrates this continuum: a story of machines learning to groove, and humans learning to listen differently through them.

We take you on a trip through music history in a two hour DJ-set. Starting with music from the early 1970s and closing with tracks produced in 2025. Have a dance with us and get a feeling for the changing sound aesthetics, style and fashion the over the decades. 
Not a lot of time to cover the sheer endless amount of music and information, you say? You are right! This can only be a tiny extract, filtered through our perspective and taste. We’ll focus on a selection that feels representative for its time - exciting, beautiful, obscure or interesting. And of course some dirty bangers. 

To make the set not only danceable but also offer hungry brains visual context, we provide a live timeline with info about the decade's musical developments, technical breakthroughs/curiosities and fun facts. This will be uploaded to youtube soon!
