In der III. Waldsymphonie nimmt uns unsere liebe Freundin Lissi samt Cello im Gepäck mit auf eine melodische Seelenreise durch mystische Waldwelten.
Als Lissi vor noch nicht allzu langer Zeit im kleinen vertrauten Rahmen erstmalig hinter dem DJ Pult stand, wurde sämtlichen lauschenden Ohren klar, welch musikalisches Feingefühl durch ihre Adern fließt.
Wir haben selten einen Menschen erleben dürfen, der so in der Musik aufgeht und auf der Bühne fast überschnappt vor Freude. So macht sie es einem wirklich schwer, sich nicht mitreißen zu lassen!
Mit ihrer verspielten, experimentierlustigen und auch oft eskalativen Art lässt sie uns schweben, träumen, tanzen und auch mal richtig einen Drauf machen.
In Ihrem Werk stellt sie wieder einmal ihr feines musikalisches Gehör unter Beweis und untermalt wie verfeinert den einen oder anderen Track mit live eingespielten Cello-Kompositionen. So verpasst Sie ihrer Waldsymphonie eine ganz einmalige Nuance und kreiert ihr eigenes Erkennungsmerkmal. 
Lasst euch mitnehmen auf eine Wanderung waldein, waldaus, bergauf, bergab, querfeldein und manchmal auch ganz normal geradeaus; auf vertrauten Klangpfaden und doch immer wieder hin zu einer neuen, unbekannten Abbiegung.

Let’s go back to 80 BC, when Julius Caesar was just 20 years old and was sent to negotiate an alliance in Bithynia, which would be around the north of modern Turkey.
Caesar made quite an impression on the king, Nicomedes the 4th, and ended up staying for some time in Bithynia, which started a rumor back in Rome stating that the two were sleeping together.
It got to the point where some senators and Caesar’s own soldiers were frequently making fun of him for that, he got called "every man's wife and every woman's husband” and ended up with the nickname “The Queen of Bithynia”.

I wrote this track as an homage to the millions of people who experienced such discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation.
Besides the suffering, I also wanted it to carry the feeling of hope that forbids us to give up as we work towards a more open and accepting society.

Seaside Trip 109 | Surfacing Emotions | Kaleekarma

Following up on the latest release by Muno which was influenced by the sounds of South America, the fifth EP delivered by Heimlich Musik comes with two disco bangers by Johannes Klingebiel and remixes by O/Y and Fred Behrtet.

Created in Prague, the two original tracks with their melancholic harmonies are mirrors of two beautiful years Johannes Klingebiel spent in the Czech capital. "Voula" carries elements clearly influenced by Nicolas Jaar, putting them into an entirely different context. Reduced to a very limited number of  elements, "Goodbye" delivers a mood hard to describe in words. Except the beat section the song mainly uses a bassline and a few pad sounds to transport the brightness that is needed to describe the idea of the track. Remixing "Voula", Fred Behrtet is adding some additional power to the original version that suits the dancefloor even more, and up and coming shooting star O/Y delivers a  remix combining his characteristic weirdness with beats that unexperienced DJs might have a hard time with. All in all, the release is a perfect fit for melancholic late summer days and a smooth start into autumn.
