Wir alle werden im Laufe unseres Lebens mit Dingen konfrontiert, welche nicht so leicht von der Hand gehen. Dabei handelt es sich zumeist um herausfordernde u/o weniger erfreuliche Aufgaben. Die Motivation für die Abarbeitung dieser Angelegenheiten ist tendenziell gering und es wird ein extraordinäres Maß an Motivation benötigt. Hilfreich sind hierfür externe Anreize in Form von Termindruck oder auch Mitmenschen, welche uns einmal kräftig in den Allerwertesten treten. Sie unterstützen uns dabei unsere Komfortzone zu verlassen und über uns selbst hinauszuwachsen. Nach getaner Arbeit fühlt man sich befreit und hat im besten Fall noch einiges dazu gelernt. Die gesammelten Erfahrungen können dabei helfen, zukünftige Herausforderungen leichter und spielerischer zu meistern. Doch erst einmal muss man sich aufraffen und zur Tat schreiten. 

Heute haben wir einen Vollblutmusiker & -künstler auf KataHaifisch zu Gast. Lax Morenz ist hauptsächlich im Raum Hannover und in der lokal verankerten 60 Zoll Crew aktiv. Bei Morenz wird je nach
Anlass mal mit Platte, als auch mit dem Stick aufgelegt. Musikalisch ist unser heutiger Gast ebenso flexibel. Im heutigen Podcast wird es gleichermaßen techig wie housig. Abgespacte Sounds liefern sich mit stimulierenden Basslines einen liebevollen Schlagabtausch. Das Set ist treibend und verspielt und genau das richtige um sich für eine ausgedehnte Partynacht in Stimmung zu versetzen.

Nathan grew up on the central prairies of Canada, completely landlocked, the nearest body of salt water 20 hours away. »Seeing the sea for the first time changed everything for me, it opened my mind to a much bigger and greater world than my humble upbringing on the flatlands.« Shortly after he moved to the West Coast of Britsh Columbia, began to travel and to find hisself and his place near the sea. Now he can see it every day, a constant reminder of where he can go. 

»The sea is more tranquil here, sheltered by the many scattered islands. It turns from dark grey in the winter to mediterranean blue in the summer. I feel this mix could be representing that change, as it begins quite dark, slow and moody. Then builds to a more centered and optimistic soundscape. So let me say: Big thanks for hosting me!«

We are still deeply moved by this Monday morning moment at Spacebar. The experience here at Fusion Festival was something special for us. 

To perform this closing set was the sweet culmination of an alluring trip through Fusion 2019, alongside many great old and new friends. Thank you so much to the Spacebar Crew and @andreas-stefi-1 for inviting us and all the beautiful people who supported us on this journey.
