Rsxperiments is an electronic music project that captures the nostalgic essence of 80s video game and movie soundtracks. The music primarily revolves around Synthwave but also explores other genres. All of the project's works are available for free download on Bandcamp.

I began my musical journey at age 7 with the piano. In my early teens, I was drawn to the guitar, inspired by icons like Slash. Alongside my two friends, all of us guitarists, we formed a band and I embraced the electric bass, recognizing its significance (alongside the drums) in modern music genres. Growing up in choirs my mother Halla Soffía Jónasdóttir sung in, I started myself singing more and more.

In my late teens, my passion for the piano resurfaced, leading me to focus on jazz piano, and a bit of bass, at FÍH music school. There, I had the privilege of learning from exceptional mentors, including Agnar Már Magnússon, Eyþór Gunnarsson, Jóhann Ásmundsson, and Sigurður Flosason.

Around the turn of this century, I was in the band KUAI which shone brightly before fading out. Throughout my journey, I collaborated with many talented musicians, yet my most enduring partnership remains with Sindri Bergmann Þórarinsson. Currently we produce music as Kanez Kane.
