"Bass in your face, DJ Wayang in the mix, prepare to lose your damn mind!" is proclaimed less than three minutes into DJ Wayang's first episode of his RTR2 residency Remember When. The Boorloo/Perth DJ and producer fulfills this straightforward edict with a deft and emotive touch over two hours, splicing liminal pockets of dreamy ambience with sub-bass loaded breakbeats from beyond.

Effortlessly strung together as a narrative of emotive sounds, this mix is a deep reflection of music she has a close connection with, enjoyed in quiet time alone and in the company of her close friends.

Personal Space Ep 2. w/ Ephacy

DJ Wayang invites local DJ SANIO onto RTR2 for episode two of Remember When, splitting the show into two heart pumping halves. Drawing on twisted percussion driven grooves, maximal bass lines and alien synth parts twisted with otherworldly sound effects, the duo fold together head down club hedonism and euphoria-laced dance modernism across two hours.

Beloved in both the Boorloo and Walyalup music scenes, frequent gig attender, musician & DJ, Personal Space contributor Nape takes us on a intimate musical voyage. His entry into their residency is a two part collection of music inspired by liminal spaces and ones inspired by his nearest and dearest; a love letter to his interior life.

Naarm-via-Boorloo based DJ MINTOX makes a much-welcomed return to the RTR frequencies for the final chapter of Backtrack's RTR2 residency. A mainstay across RTRFM's grid and dancefloors during their Boorloo stint, voyage through two-hours of trippy and wonky pub chuggers and after party wigglers, featuring some of their new and old faves across ambient, dub and house. 

Backtrack Ep 4. w/ Mintox

The final episode of RTR2's Personal Space residency comes from across the Nullarbor by Naarm-via-Boorloo curator, Jobe. 

Serving up a seasonal recipe of instrumental, introspective and swirling soundscapes fitting for the cooler months, Jobe guides us through the intimate corners of their musical world with a healthy dose of synth pop to finish off.
