Following the success of RTR001 and its remix EP, we at R-Trybe are thrilled to present RTR002! This marks our first collection of original tracks, submitted exclusively by our Trybe members. 

The sheer quality of the submissions from our growing community blew us away, making it a tough challenge to narrow them down to just four. Here are the standout tracks that made the cut: ANDTHEN: Already making waves with releases on Adesso, Dumb Safari, and more, Luke (aka ANDTHEN) has collaborated with Flashmob and has an upcoming project with Huxley. Lonely Night is a deep, groovy track infused with disco vibes, guaranteed to bring warmth to even the loneliest night. La Felix: Hailing from New Zealand, La Felix has firmly planted himself in the house music scene, with numerous originals and remixes under his belt, including releases on Kitsuné. With Losing Control, La Felix shows off his edgier, tech-house side-delivering a powerful club-ready weapon thats sure to be a DJ favorite. Reloader: A fresh face with seasoned talent, Reloader demonstrates the finesse of a seasoned pro. Sharp is a minimal-leaning house anthem packed with big builds and chunky basslines-a certified dancefloor destroyer. Line.y: A rising star, British-born and Canada-based Line.y is already turning heads. With his first two productions signed right out of the gate, Swoop showcases his knack for UKG and deep house. Featuring tight grooves, a standout bassline, and deep, hypnotic vocals, this track hints at an exciting future for Line.y.

R-Trybe is the vision of three music producers, djs and artists, Huxley, Ramin Rezaie, and BAKKIS. Brought together through music, the trio discovered there was a gap in the market for community driven platforms that allowed the subscribers to get out of it what they want, and also what they themselves put in.

Built on the “Music First” ethos, R-Trybe is set to create a dynamic space where producers, DJs, and music lovers can connect, collaborate, and grow together. Access top-tier educational content, and get feedback on your tracks. 

One of the biggest draw of the R-Trybe is our community focused record label, backed by years of experience in the game, we can offer the perfect place to get your music released. Based on a purely unbiased, competitive model, we allow our users to decide who will make the cut down to the 10 top tracks (bi-monthly) and then we cut this down to 4. We do the final say so we can make sure there’s a fair spread on who gets released. Line.y, a rising producer based in Vancouver, has carved out a distinctive sound that blends house, deep house, and UK garage. His journey into electronic music began at 16, DJing in his high school's underground scene.

Rather than rushing into production, Line.y took years to absorb London's electronic music culture. He observed, learned, and waited for the right moment to transition from DJing to producing.

Line.y's production style is characterized by meticulous attention to detail. He starts with a strong foundation, building from the groove up. His sound combines a commanding baseline with precision-engineered kicks and shortened, punchy drum patterns.

Growing up alongside future icons like Huxley, Line.y was part of a creative revolution in London's electronic music scene. Huxley later became his mentor, providing him with his first sample pack and marking the beginning of Line.y's professional production journey.

Line.y's influences include Dusky, Butch, Bonobo, and Maribou State. His music reflects both his appreciation for electronic music's history and his vision for its future.

Line.y's debut professional release, "Swoop," captured the attention of the deep house community and climbed into the top 20 deep house releases. His skills behind the decks have also earned him memorable performances at prestigious venues in Brighton and Vancouver.

Line.y represents a new breed of electronic music producer – one who balances technical skill with emotional depth. His productions are crafted with care, resulting in music that resonates on both a physical and emotional level.

As Line.y continues to evolve and push his sound forward, he remains committed to patience, authenticity, and quality. His journey is just beginning, and the dance music world is eagerly awaiting what's next.
