Liora didn’t remember falling asleep beneath the abandoned viaduct; she only remembered the faint lavender shimmer that pressed against her eyelids like someone nudging a door from the other side. She awoke atop a pale slab of concrete that suddenly felt warm and breathing, as if a pulse beat beneath its surface.
A hairline fissure ran along the concrete’s edge, glowing soft and orange, and the glow spread outward in branching webs. The air thickened with the scent of crushed juniper. A hush—too deliberate to be silence—gathered around her.

Without quite knowing why, Liora placed her palm on the fissure. The warmth became a current, humming through her veins. The crack widened and swallowed her hand, her arm, and then her entire body. She slipped through the concrete as if it were vapor, emerging in another place entirely.

I. A Sky of Roots
She stood on an upside-down plain—above her stretched a tangle of colossal roots instead of clouds, dangling tendrils tipped with luminous spores that drifted upward and vanished. Beyond them, hidden by phosphorescence, pulsed a sun the color of serotonin in chemical diagrams, crescent-shaped and curiously hollow, as though a bite had been taken from its light.

The ground was a glossy obsidian mirror. Every step sent ripples of violet into the distance, echoing along an endless surface. She caught her reflection: eyes dilated wider than normal, skin faintly silver, as though the voyage had scrubbed away something ordinary.

II. Crystal Moth Crossing
The obsidian sea fractured into prisms at her feet, and from the fracture soared creatures—moths made of quartz, wings refracting the hollow sun. Their antennae curved like tuning forks, plucking silent harmonics from space itself. Without speaking, they invited her to climb onto one of their backs. She obeyed. Claws clicked delicately around her shoulders like corset stays.

The moth rose. Flight was a vibration more than a motion, a steady ascending tremor. Below, the obsidian rippled into a mosaic of jagged colors, each shard reflecting some forgotten memory: her childhood bicycle gliding over summer asphalt; a friend’s half-finished laugh; a heartbreak sealed in a jar of midnight. The shards tumbled away, replaced by unknown frames—faces she’d never seen, landscapes too improbable to have been real.

She realized the moth was culling old serotonin echoes and feeding them into its wings, transmuting emotion into propulsion.

Bio

Valentino Kanzyani’s rise to prominence as founding father of the Slovenian Techno scene dates back to the mid 1990s: a highly skillful and acclaimed performer, his fame as resident spinner at the legendary Ambasada Gavioli grew larger and larger thanks to his mind altering and impressive 3-decks technique all night long sets.
In 1999 After releasing first tracks with Umek as Recycled Loops, they created a label to under the same name, inspiring a long line of other producers and labels with their fresh funky techno sound.
In 2001 a sub label named Earresistible was born designated for the more San Francisco and UK tech house orientated sound.
In 2005 the Eastern Europe turntable virtuoso founded his vinyl-only label Jesus Loved You, which served as an outlet for his creative outputs and personal projects, staying true to the original format of the DJ.
Since 2006 Valentino spend 8 magical seasons on the island of Ibiza discovering new shades of electronica and reinventing himself as an artist in the process.
With a group of friends  there, he started Next Wave party series with the idea to fertilise the scene on the island with fresh wave of emerging artists, creating a space for then mostly promising upcoming talents and now widely renown and respected artists such as;
Praslea, Alexandra, Dan Andrei , Binh, Nicolas Lutz, Francesco del Garda, Onur Ozer...
In 2014 he returns to his homeland in an attempt to find some peace  and quiet in between busy touring schedule, only to find himself  immersed once again in Slovenia’s flourishing underground electronic movement,  and what kind of founding father would he be, if he was not  to get involved, offering his gentle guidance and enormous experience  to the ferocious young talents sprouting from it.
Out of honest exchange of mutual inspiration and appreciation; Luckison collective was born > a spiritual alliance of like-hearted  individuals sharing same passions, values and vision as well  as  countless moments of sheer joy on the dance-floor , which seem to  bind  the whole boutique, but high spirited and close-knitted Slovenian rave community together like glue.
After a series of Luckison raves, the gang started a label with the first  EP carrying favorite fruits of their funniest gang bangs in the studio  titled simply ; Luckison,  in an attempt to keep the focus solely on the  music instead of names.
And it’s only the beginning of this latest adventure Valentino has took  on ; known as a man of refined taste with an excess of ideas, an impeccable nose for fresh talent and a tendency to bind together most  peculiar of characters..,wherever he may be headed, for sure it wont  be boring!

We caught up with the Masomenos / Midiminuit crew ahead of their new studio album which is part of their Hotel Costes presents project of epic proportions totaling a number of 16 albums and 16 EP’s. This latest album is by Midiminuit the outfit made up of pianist Julien Quentin, bass player Yonatan Levi and electronic musicians Cesar Merveille & Adrien de Maublanc (Masomenos).

Following on from the ‘Round The Clock’ LP back in September 2019, Midiminuit returned with more of their atmospheric electronic twist on modern classical and contemporary jazz.

German trio Wareika made up of electronic musicians Jakob Seidensticker, Florian Schirmacher, and Henrik Raabe have crafted a sublime style that gives more than a nod to their Jazz and Classical backgrounds. This deep knowledge and understanding of these genres, as well as the inhuman skill at the controls of their machines, makes for one of the most impressive live acts in the game.

Being a part of the Perlon family since their 2010 album ‘Harmonie Park’ the trio have sewn together with a great many moods and sonic journeys since then. As well as the magical Frankfurt imprint this talented threesome has also starred for the likes of Amphia, Visionquest as well as our own recent charity release. being DJ’s too Wareika have a truly unique perspective on dance music in all its many forms so it with great pleasure we present 80 minutes of live-based action for the next edition of our podcast series.

Zboro, a resident in Projekt LAB from Poznan (Poland), recorded our episode 86th. He has been playing since school discos, which were a flashpoint for further development, which resulted in moving to Poznań and involvement in the club scene there. 
 
He had the pleasure to share decks with, among others, Carl Craig, Diego Krause, Dj Nob, Varhat, and Mihai Pol. His sets are a search for depth in mantric simplicity, supported on the backbone of a radical beat. Hit play and enjoy the journey!
