Soul singer Alexia Coley from West London and German producer David Hanke aka Renegades Of Jazz team up for 'Magic Touch', an up tempo Soulshaker par excellence.

Originally conceived but not marked for inclusion in Hanke’s 2019 Nevertheless album release, Magic Touch was a masterpiece waiting to happen.

A big fan of Alexia Coley’s debut release, Keep the Faith, Hanke sort out Coley to complete the track with her unique voice and lyric writing. The sublime result of their collaboration was recorded by Nick Manasseh at The Yard, London.

A one listen only moment for Our Label Records supremo, Gu made it an essential release for the Germany based label.

Mr Doris and D-Funk join forces with UK rap aficionado MysDiggi to bring us hip hop of the highest order in the form of 'Cruise Control'.

With production nods to the boom bap era of the 90's and a unique fun-lovin lyrical style delivered by frontman MysDiggi this track is a happy oasis of good time vibes that sets a precedence amongst those more electronic and synthetic out there.

With remixes coming from 'Dazzla & Doris', 'Basement Freaks' and the mighty 'Nightmares On Wax' this is set to be a big release for their maiden voyage on the good ship Jam City.

With this release they are bringing a two track single release featuring guest artists on their opening and self titled funk and party breaks track "People Under the Snare feat. Kid Stretch & Selectah Kats". Here we can find on the turntables mister: Kid Stretch, on the vocals miss : Selectah Kats and on the electric guitar mister : Peter Lago. Releasing album ‘Bring Out The Sound’ in early 2018, Britain’s original live hip hop band The Herbaliser have been touring across Europe non-stop since, finding fans wherever they’ve touched down. Now BBE Music revisits the project with three brand new remixes from Mr Bird and The Gaff.
Since issuing his BBE debut ‘Low-Fi Classics’ alongside hugely respected UK vocalist Greg Blackman, Lisbon based producer Mr Bird has been going from strength to strength, finding his music consistently championed by the BBC’s Craig Charles among many others. Remixing Bring Out The Sound’s fiery opening track Breach, Mr Bird injects a little bounce into the groove and adds atmospherics, not to mention a monstrous synth bass-line, sure to move bass-bins (and backsides) across the globe. For his version of ‘Over And Over’, Mr Bird employs a much more sensitive touch, giving Stac’s beautiful vocal deliver room to breathe over shuffling drums and subtle synths. Finally, renowned Party Rocker, Producer, Record Collector and ‘DJ’s DJ’, The Gaff takes on modern b-boy anthem ‘Takedown’, turning the drums up to eleven as he expertly teases out even more funk from the Herbaliser band’s original performance.

X-Ray Ted continues to show why he is rising so fast, with each release building on his talent for delivering knockout grooves. This could quite possibly be his strongest release to date with Bombstrikes. 'Mirror Ballin' kicks things off on a disco groove with driving beats pushing the bass along seamlessly that cements this tracks place as dance floor gold. Next up, 'Get Into It' slows the pace down a little but still delivers just as much punch with funk hooks and clever vocal work. Rounding the pack off nicely is 'Never Gonna Let 'Em Say' with its breakbeats, guitar hooks and deep bass drops to ensure that the track hits where it is supposed to.

We love this EP and cannot wait to hear more from the Bristol based producer.
