Das Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Leipzig-Halle versteht sich als Informationsplattform sowie als Zentrum eines branchenübergreifenden Netzwerks für kleine und mittelständische Unternehmen (KMU) in den Bereichen Nachhaltigkeit und digitale Transformation. Als anbieterneutrale Anlaufstelle für KMU und Handwerksbetriebe in der Region Leipzig, Halle und den angrenzenden Landkreisen bieten wir praktische Unterstützung und Informationen. Unser Fokus liegt dabei auf nachhaltiger Wertschöpfung, Lieferketten, regionalen Kooperationen und innovativer Wissensvermittlung. Unsere Arbeit zielt darauf ab, KMU bedarfsgerecht  bei ihrer Auseinandersetzung mit den Themen Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung zu unterstützen.

Vintage synth fetishist and genuine circuit-bending whiz, Italo Brutalo is no typical dealer of hardware-squeezed juice. Tapping in the endless potentialities of his analogue army of retro machinery, the German producer has built a sound ID that defies conventions and takes pride in trespassing all the frontiers and limitations associated to the etiolated map of dance music styles.
From EBM-laced rhythms to jagged techno motifs, via off-pistes divagations into electro, disco, hip-hop and kosmische spaces, Italo Brutalo writes a story of genre-busting, all-embracing love for the primordial groove. Having first dabbled into production through the studio equipment of his father, young Fries quickly caught the virus of music-making and its idiosyncratic logic, using all the means within his reach to turn his ideas into actual pieces of sound. With over 25 years of fiddling, tweaking, bastardising bars of automated fire so people can have a blast on the dance floor, Italo Brutalo has gained a potent reputation amongst jockeys and producers, recently making it to the cover of Das Synthesizer Magazine.

Following up to a string of releases on a wide array of imprints including Mozzarella Records, Days of Being Wild, Compuphonic, RFR or Nang Records, Fries moved onto self-releasing his output through Bungalo Disco, the label he co-operates alongside his girlfriend. After the first three vinyl releases went sold-out within a couple of weeks, Italo Brutalo now returns with his anticipated debut long-player, "Heartware", which - as its title suggests, makes for a compelling ode to the machines that got him into the eerie world of sine waves and tape loops. Beautifully wrapped in a gatefold, and adorned with the exquisite artwork of his creative partner to go full-circle. What else?

For over two decades, Taffi Louis has struggled to write a DJ bio that doesn’t sound like AI-generated slop.  In that time the role of DJ has mutated away from the music enthusiast/curator to influencer/marketer. Defying simple categorization, his sets blend dark disco, new wave, Italo, presented  in the language of house and techno and steered into a fluid narrative, like an imaginary soundtrack for the movie version of right now..  His first gig in a local gay bar unexpectedly kicked off a six-year residency, mingling James Murphy with Giorgio Moroder, Bobby O with Vitalic.  Instead of chasing trends and the widest possible audience, he  built unique, diverse audiences with parties like Truckerdisco and Roboteria, centered around music first, not market segments. His era-jumping, propulsive DJ sets refuse to treat music as disposable, perfunctory filler.  His edits receive worldwide support from DJs like The Hacker, Italo Brutalo, Local Suicide, & more.

The history of the DJ & producer duo and couple Local Suicide stretches back over a decade to the year 2008. Since meeting, Munich-born Brax Moody and Thessaloniki native Vamparela have collaborated together on various projects, all culminating in the conception of Local Suicide in Berlin. Local Suicide’s distinctive sound, is an energetic fusion of new wave, EBM, post disco and dark techno that they themselves have given the name technodisco, while Beatport declared them as one of the key figures in the uprising dark disco scene.

Their DJ career has carried them to all four corners of the world, whipping crowds into a frenzy at Lollapalooza, Melt!, ADE, Off Sonar, Festival Forte, Berlin Festival and almost every club the German capital has to offer. Their live cuts have been honed to perfection with years of shows alongside the very best in the scene, even being invited by New Order to warm up for their live performance. This hectic schedule has taken them across Europe, Asia, North Africa, South America and the United States.

With solo & collaborative releases with Curses, Theus Mago, Lena Platonos, Hard Ton, The Hidden Cameras, Rodion, Alejandro Paz, Thomass Jackson, Skelesys, Franz Matthews & more on labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Multi Culti, Duro, Ombra INTL, Lumière Noire, Eskimo, AEON, Ransom Note & TAU the duo had numerous releases reaching the top 10 iTunes, Beatport & Juno charts and had massive editorial playlist support by Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music and Deezer.

Local Suicide has had a stunning amount of press coverage from leading mags like DJ Mag UK/IT/US/LA/ES, Mixmag, FAZE, Groove, TRAX, Time Out, Tsugi, XLR8R & Rolling Stone and has played themselves in Fett & Fett, a series broadcasted on the biggest german national TV station ZDF in which their musical productions were featured extensively as well.

In 2021 the powerhouse launched their own label Iptamenos Discos where they recently released their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Eros Anikate’ among others. In 2022 the duo also revealed their new live band project Dina Summer with Kalipo with which they released their debut album ‘Rimini’ on Audiolith Records. The LP got praised by German magazines such as Der Spiegel, Musikexpress, Musikwoche, Kulturnews, Sonic Seducer and was featured as album of the week on Sunshine Live & Laut.
