Lore:  I usually try to pump out a track right before a gig and this was one of those cases. So about a week before NYE 2021 I was listening to the original on repeat and I got the perverted thought to actually bootleg the tune I was so in love with. This project went surprisingly smooth given the complexity of it and 90% got finished in a week. All in all I'm still pretty proud of this one even though it's quite an old project, so I hope y'all enjoy it!!

"Der Kommissar" is a song by Austrian singer Falco, released in 1981. It was a hit in Europe and Latin America. In 1982, the British band After the Fire released an English-language version, which was a top 10 hit in the US and Canada.

The song is about a substance-addicted detective who is trying to solve a murder case. The lyrics were controversial because they were interpreted as promoting substance use. The song has been covered by many artists, including After the Fire, Laura Branigan, and Vanilla Ice.

"Ça plane pour moi" is a 1977 song by Belgian musician Plastic Bertrand. The music is also used in the 1977 song "Jet Boy, Jet Girl" by Elton Motello.

The song has been covered by many artists, though the original recording was the most successful, reaching No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart in mid-1978. While mainly regarded as a punk rock song, "Ça plane pour moi" has also been described as new wave and as a parody or pastiche of punk rock. The title is a French idiom that is best translated as "this works for me" (literally: "it is gliding for me").

Jeanette Anne Dimech (10 October, 1951 in London), who performs under the name Jeanette, is a British-born Spanish singer who has resided in Spain since the age of 12, and sings primarily in Spanish. Jeanette has completed seven albums. She has made appearances and duets with artists such as Julio Iglesias, José Luis Perales, Mocedades, Sacha Distel, Raphael, and Formula V.

"Porque te vas" (English: "Because you leave") is a song performed by Jeanette and written by José Luis Perales that remained relatively unknown at the start of 1974. Only when the song was used in Carlos Saura's 1976 film Cría Cuervos (Raising Crows), and the film went on to be honoured at the Cannes Film Festival (Jury grand prize) and the Berlin Film Festival (Jury special prize), did the song become internationally known and a hit. In Austria it reached number 13, in Switzerland number 4, and in Germany it even reached number 1. Although after "Porque te vas" Jeanette never achieved similar international success, she continued singing relatively successfully in Spain and Latin America, and to a lesser degree in France, well into the 1990s.
