Argentinian producer Alan Cerra has a strong discography with releases on renowned imprints such as The Soundgarden, Movement, Siona and Juicebox Music, while earning continued support from main genre tastemakers.
The release begins with 'Leap of Faith' a progressive roller anchored by a warm and rippling groove, emerging melodies with a denser and more rhythmic ambience creates a hypnotic atmosphere, bringing a distinct astral quality track to the dancefloor.
On the remix duties of "Leap of Faith" is Tonaco, the talented and rising Brazilian producer with great releases on imprints like Meanwhile, Onedotsixtwo, Mango Alley to name a few, presents a huge reinterpretation of the track, adding his characteristic hypnotic grooves with obscure melodies and atmospheric textures creating a perfect balance to conquer the dance floor audience.
The second track 'Innervision' continues the progressive tone set with a mid-set style vibe, a fluid groove moving through rolling contours and rhythmic pulses that resonates on a hypnotic track to the dancefloor.
Closing the EP, an "Intro version of Leap of Faith", a gift for Dj's to start their progressive journey in the best way.

The main theme "Sahara Desert", is a well crafted progressive track,with a an energetic drive groove. Rising Spanish producer Benja Molina, put his fingerprint on the remix with a denser, more rhythmic ambience and a hypnotic atmosphere remix. Closing the EP, "Night Garden Flowers", brings a perfect balance of fluid rhythms, with groove and atmospheric textures, completing the EP with mastery and quality.

Leandro Murua, VENAO - Sahara Desert (Original Mix)

An artist who has spent his entire adult life working in the electronic music industry, Chris Zippel has been at the sharp end of the underground dance scene since the age of 15. Having worked with such illustrious stars as Robbie Williams, The Pet Shop Boys and Norah Jones, the Berlin-based artist has been a regular across some of dance music's esteemed imprints. His work for Ubersee Music, Elektrolux, Allisum and GMJ & Matter's Meanwhile Horizons, has given Chris a highly respected place at dance music's top table, as he now makes his Particles debut.

"Glossy" is an immaculately engineered offering that sparkles with progressive splendour. Full of percussive vibrancy and swung, head-shaking groove, a smooth bassline pattern adds subtle intensity to proceedings. Before long, a swathe of complementary melodic components make their play as cadenced plucks provide dancefloor character and a compelling, ceaseless energy. Through shaker pattern, well-placed clap and snare fills and a rising club-friendly pace, "Glossy" is a masterfully produced affair that is certain to find favour with DJs across the world.

Simos Tagias has played a significant part in Proton history with 30 production credits split across its labels. The "Airlock" and "Audacity" EPs in 2017 and 2018 saw the Greek artist chart a serene path through the Proton Music catalogue, as have a clutch of remixes for the likes of Dimuth K, LADS and GMJ. Similarly, the "Restricted Area" and "Drunk State" original tracks made their mark on Particles in 2014 before reworkings of Antrim and James Monro in 2017. Further remixes of Gaston Ponte and Tongue & Groove lit up the second half of 2022 and the early part of 2023 as Simos Tagias now returns to Particles for a seventh remix on the label.

Reworking "Glossy" with typically impressive flair, the core themes of the original form the basis for a new rhythmic pattern to revolve around a heavy beat and steady bassline sequence. An atmospheric vocal cut, drenched in delay adds atmosphere aplenty as trademark pads and enthralling chord progressions create multi-faceted layers of additional production. Building through a gloriously evocative breakdown, the second half blossoms into another dancefloor gem as a metrical synth pattern creates an imaginative and effortless remix.

Shining brightly with a "Glossy" and deftly produced original work, Chris Zippel is a welcome addition to the Particles roster.

Next remix comes from the Chilean artist Paul Arcane who debuts on the label bringing a interpretation of the track witch crafts a gorgeous lead line and balmy atmospherics for sure fire dance floor elation. Closing the EP, Russian producer Digital Mess presents a remix with growling synths and dark, chugging grooves. This EP is a must-have for the progressive house lovers. Make sure you don't miss it!
